Fact: Ian Ziering and Tara Reid are returning for a new instalment of Sharknado. Sharknado 5 will take place all over the world and will be filmed in five countries including Australia and England. It will be directed by Anthony C. Ferrante and also feature the return of original cast member Cassie Scerbo. The TV film began production in Bulgaria on Friday (03Feb17).

Fact: David Hasselhoff will play the father of Ian Ziering's character in the latest Sharknado sequel. Ziering will return for Sharknado 3, along with Tara Reid, while Bo Derek, Ann Coulter, Mark Cuban, Jerry Springer and Chris Kirkpatrick have also landed cameo roles.

Fact: Tara Reid and Ian Ziering's cult Tv disaster film Sharknado is set to attack movie theatres for one night only - the Syfy network hit will be screened during special midnight showings at 200 Regal locations across America on 2 August (13). The disaster epic, about a violent storm which rains down vicious sharks on Los Angeles, became a phenomenon on social networking websites after it aired on U.S. Tv earlier this month (Jul13). A sequel has already been announced.

Actresses Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty attended the show and later posed for pictures with their former co-star on the red carpet.
