British star Billie Piper and her actor husband Laurence Fox are planning to quit their native U.K. next year (13) and move their family to Los Angeles.
The former pop star, who gave birth to the couple's second son in April (12), hinted at plans to relocate to the U.S. in a recent interview, saying, "There's not much work in the U.K. - that's why everyone's moving to America."
Her husband has now confirmed they want to rent a house in L.A. and start auditioning for parts in Hollywood, and they hope to move as soon as they both finish their current stints in London's West End.
Fox tells British newspaper the Evening Standard, "We could go there and not get a job and they could say, 'You suck,' and we come home. Who knows what's going to actually happen?"
The actor is currently starring in West End play Old Boys, while Piper appears at the National Theatre in The Effect, which runs until January (13).
