Brandi Glanville is leaving 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'.

The 42-year-old star joined the reality show four years ago during the second season and became a regular soon after, but has now decided to walk away from the reality programme.

Hinting she was deliberating her future on the show, she wrote on Twitter: ''I woke up with a sore throat and a HUGE decision to make today! #RHOBH Will let you all know later I promise !! (sic)''

The mother-of-two - who was married to Eddie Cibrian until 2010 - frequently fought with her fellow cast members Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna during the last season, and now sources say her co-stars are glad she's left because she was such ''a diva''.

The source told People magazine: ''Brandi got too big for her britches. She was a diva, and it came around to bite her.

''By the end, she couldn't get along with anyone, and no one wanted to shoot with her.''

It has also been confirmed regular cast members Kim Richards, who is currently in rehab following her arrest for public intoxication in April, and Lyme disease sufferer Yolanda Foster will not return for the show's upcoming sixth season, due to begin later this year.

However, the news doesn't rule out future appearances for the three stars in the show, as previous Housewives Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer have made guest appearances in the past.
