Brandi Glanville's sons won't appear on her ex-husband's new reality TV show.

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star, 40, insisted her boys, Mason, nine, and Jake, six, will not feature on Eddie Cibrian's new series with his wife Leann Rimes, which will air on VHI later this year or in early 2014.

The couple, who first revealed in May that they were developing their own TV series, will star in six half-hour episodes, as they want to take control of the way the public sees them.

They were previously said to have decided not to feature Eddie's sons on the show but a press release this week confirmed it would focus on LeAnn's role as a stepmother, ''learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons.''

But Brandi clarified on Twitter on Friday morning (09.08.13) that their sons will not be on the show.

She wrote: ''GM (Good Morning) my fancy kids don't want 2 wake up but they R being picked up by dad 2 go 2 Aspen! Fancy! PS. no they won't be on eddies show #safetravels (Sic)''

Eddie, 39, and LeAnn, 30, posted a picture of them hiking with the boys in Aspen, Colorado, on Friday and also revealed they went white water rafting there on Saturday morning (10.08.13).

The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, are hoping their new reality show will help people to realise they are just a normal couple, after they sparked controversy when they met on the set of TV movie 'Northern Lights' and embarked on an affair while they were both married to other people.

In a joint statement this week, they said: ''We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet, who we're really not.''
