Asked what sentences she knows in French, she said: ''I couldn't possibly say them ... I hear when he's on the phone and stuff, that's when I pick it up. I can understand more than I can speak to be honest, otherwise it's be very offensive stuff that I'd be saying.''
Meanwhile, despite claiming married life is ''great'', Cheryl insists she's not ready to start a family with Jean-Bernard at the moment but is ''very happy'' with how their relationship is progressing.
She said about starting a family with her spouse: ''I haven't set a plan and I will let nature take its course. Right now I am very happy with the way things are.''
Cheryl was previously married to soccer star Ashley Cole from 2006 until she announced they had separated in 2010.
