Troubled Rap Mogul Damon Dash Has Blasted His Ex-wife's Lawyer For Allegedly Setting Up Him For Legal Problems By Failing To Serve Him Papers In A Dispute Over Outstanding Child Support.
A New York City judge issued a warrant for Dash's arrest in court on Wednesday (29Apr15), ruling the rap boss owed his former spouse, fashion designer Rachel Roy, $342,000 (£213,750) in child support and other fees.
Dash was a no-show in court, and now he has spoken out, claiming he was never even notified of the hearing.
In an interview with U.S. social commentator Boyce Watkins, Jay Z's former business partner, who is currently in Los Angeles, takes aim at Roy's lawyer Donnell Suares for reportedly playing dirty.
He states, "I don't know what's really going on, but like I told you, they started cheating. The dude Donnell Suares I guess got a warrant, because I'm in L.A. and I never got the dates or times to come back to the court. I never got served anything."
Dash continues to slam Suares branding him a "piece of dog s**t" for attempting to break up his family for his own financial gain.
Dash lost custody of his two daughters, 15-year-old Ava and six-year-old Tallulah, to Roy last week (begs20Apr15). He was granted supervised visitation.
