Former Limp Bizkit star Mike Smith is set to rejoin his old band Snot for an upcoming European tour.

Smith will replace Sonny Mayo in the line-up for the tour, which kicks off in Belgium next month (Feb15).

Announcing the news, group founder Mikey Doling says, "Mike Smith is an awesome guitarist and even greater person. He saved the day for us replacing Sonny for most of our touring in 1998. It makes perfect sense to have him aboard again and we are grateful for his return."

Mayo had to step down as the band's guitarist for the dates in Europe in February and March to concentrate on efforts with his charity organisation Rock To Recovery, but Doling insists he hasn't quit the group, adding, "Sonny will always be in Snot. He has a rad company that he is just getting off the ground and he has to hang back on this tour. We totally understand he has a lot on his plate. We will miss him, but completely support him all the way."

Smith won't be the only new man in the line-up - Snot recently recruited Carl Bensley as frontman following the departure of Tommy Cummings.
