Nick Jonas' sex life has ''dramatically'' changed his music and made his work more successful.

The 24-year-old singer - who wore a purity ring with his brothers in his younger days as a Disney star - has admitted his sexual encounters are ''important'' for him and his music because they have led him to become a better songwriter as he can sing about his experiences with ''more reality''.

Speaking about his hit tracks to Wonderland magazine, the dark-haired hunk said: ''Any time I approach writing a song I think about the fact that since I started having sex my creative life changed dramatically, and my ability to write a song with more genuine depth, more reality.

After splitting with actress and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo last year, Nick Jonas has been linked to a number of female stars. But in a very revealing interview about his dating life, the former Jonas Brother admitted he’s been enjoying spending time as of late with Lily Collins, actress and daughter of drummer Phil Collins.

“We went out a couple of times. She is amazing,” he told The Sun. “We have known each other for years, just running in the same circles.” When asked if he’d met Lily’s famous father Nick added: “ I didn’t meet him. I am a huge fan. I’ve been to one of his shows with Genesis at the Hollywood Bowl. It was great."

Major celeb relationship gossip alert! Romance has apparently blossomed between Kendall Jenner and Nick Jonas. Sources close to both parties have told Us Weekly that the pair came together thanks to the matchmaking efforts of their mutual friend and uber-connected model Gigi Hadid.

Kendall, the 19 year old model and current Estee Lauder ambassador, and the former Jonas brothers pop-star-turned-actor have reportedly been fanning the flames of their chemistry via text message over the last couple of weeks. One source reveals that this has been really easy for both of them, because “they had a flirty chemistry from the start.”

Meet the new Miss Universe – Gabriella Isler – a 25-year-old Venezuelan flamenco dancer and TV personality. The beauty queen was crowned last night (Saturday, November 9) was crowned in a lavish ceremony held in Moscow.

Something is always bound to go wrong during a live broadcast though and beauty queens are by no means immune to the law. During her crowning, while the Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo (from the USA), was placing the expensive crown on Isler’s head, the cumbersome thing fell off. Unfazed, Isler grabbed the crown mid-fall and managed to recover with ease and laugh at the little mishap.

The runner up this year was Spain’s Patricia Rodriguez and the pageant was judged by a qualified panel, which included Aerosmith vocalist Steven Tyler.

Miss Culpo must have been considered one of the most beautiful Miss Universe contestants of all time by the judges, given that she tripped over her dress during the evening gown competition and still managed to walk away with the ultimate prize. Americans assumed their girl was done-for after the slip, but she battled back in the interview round and was crowned the first Stateside Miss Universe in 15 years.

As rock-pop band Train were performing at the event, Culpo walked on stage but tripped on the fabric of her flowing gown. Somehow, the Rhode Island native kept her composure and recovered from the error. Later in the evening, she was crowned Miss Universe 2012 and spoke to fans on Twitter about the trip, "I hope my little slip last night in evening gown competition will inspire everyone this year competing! It's okay to mess up. You're human!" she said. 

Culpo seemingly came from nowhere to win this year's prize, and initially stunned her professional musician parents by competing in the Miss Rhode Island pageant last year. On that occasion, she rented a $25 dress (with a hole in the back) though still won the competition. In an official video created to give Americans the chance to get to know their beauty queen, Culpo explained that she had a "weird" taste in movies, saying, "I like anything from anime, foreign films, documentaries, just the stranger movies, I like regular ones too, but I like to explore."

For the time in 15 years, an American has won the annual Miss Universe pageant. Olivia Culpo, 20, received the coveted tiara on Wednesday evening (December 19, 2012), beating out 88 other contestants including Miss Philippines Janine Tugonon, who was tipped to win the competition during the early stages. An American had not won the competition since 1997, and Culpo's rise to glory is extraordinary in itself.

Culpo, from Rhode Island, is a noted cellist and has performed at the Boston Symphony Hall and New York City's Carnegie Hall. She is the daughter of two professionally trained musicians and has performed alongside the world renowned Yo-Yo Ma. She does not have a particularly rich modelling past and surprised her parents by entering the Miss Rhode Island pageant last year. According to Newsday.com, her father Peter said, "We didn't know a thing about pageants." After studying current events on flashcards, working out and dieting, she won over judges in Donald Trump's Miss Universe pageant, despite tripping on her gown.
