Movie hardman Ray Winstone banned his actress daughter Jaime from going on safari while filming in South Africa as he was terrified she would be eaten by lions.
The 28-year-old Brit joined the cast of black comedy Mad Dogs as female convict Mercedes, but was forbidden from joining her cast mates on trips into the wild to spot exotic animals because of her father's fears.
She reveals, "My dad has this nightmare that haunts him: he watches as his family are eaten by lions. Seriously, it's very real to him and he forbids any Winstone to go on safari or be near any dangerous animals.
"My dad doesn't mind gambling but he reckons lions are a bad bet. If he tells me me I'm not to go near lions, I've got to listen to that haven't I?"
