Actor Ray Winstone spent four days recovering after partying hard at his daughter Jaime Winstone's wedding in Italy last year - confessing he let loose like he was '25 again'.
Ray Winstone needed four days to recover after his daughter Jaime's wedding.
The actress secretly married her long-term DJ boyfriend James Suckling in Sicily in October in front of around 250 guests including pals Nick Grimshaw and Miquita Oliver, actors Sheridan Smith and Jason Connery and boxer Dave Ryan, and Ray, 67, has admitted he partied hard on his daughter's big day and felt "25 again".
During an appearance on 'The Jonathan Ross Show', he confessed: 'It was kind of amazing. I've got to say it was probably the best wedding I've been to.
"The night was wonderful and it took me four days to get over it. It was kind of like being 25 again - I partied like no tomorrow."
The wedding took place at La Tonnara di Scopello - the site of a tuna fishery in the 13th century - in the village of Trapani where the movie 'Ocean’s Twelve’ was filmed.
Guests are believed to have arrived around five days before the wedding to enjoy separate stag and hen nights on the Mediterranean island prior to the main event. The wedding featured a set by DJ ‘Itchy Rich’ Normile as well as a blessing by a “shamanic sound healer”, according to The Sun newspaper.
The couple got engaged at Glastonbury Festival back in 2022 and they are also parents to a son named Raymond, who was born in 2016.
Proud grandad Ray added in the interview that he's loving life with his grandson, explaining: "It's the most wonderful feeling in the world. It's like seeing your kids grow up again.
"When I was younger, I was working and you didn't get that pleasure so much so you're living it as a grandfather now."
'The Jonathan Ross Show' airs Saturday at 21.35pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
