41-year-old posted a 15 minute video on Facebook on Wednesday (26th November) in which he revealed he was having some personal problems. Stapp claimed he is in financial difficulties and is effectively homeless. Stapp further claimed in the video that he was sober and seeking to counter claims he was using substances by taking drugs test. However, paperwork obtained by TMZ, suggests Stapp may not have given up using drugs.
In fact Stapp is attempting to detox alone but is reportedly struggling, according to the paperwork filed by his wife Nesheiwat and his mother-in-law. The paperwork was filed on Wednesday (16th November) on the same day Stapp posted the video. In the paperwork, Nesheiwat suggests a judge commit Stapp into a psychiatric facility for a period of 60 days so he can get professional help whilst going through detox.
As Rolling Stone reports, Nesheiwat has asked the judge for Stapp's admittance to a psychiatric facility as she is concerned for his wellbeing and the safety of his family. Stapp is allegedly "doing so much amphetamines, crystal meth and steroids that he has become a paranoid shell who has threatened to kill himself and harm his family."
There are also a number of allegations reportedly included in the paperwork which suggest Stapp's behaviour is increasingly erratic. Stapp reportedly called his son's school and claimed they were going to be attacked by ISIS, he allegedly also believes he has been poisoned and had reportedly threatened to hurt people.
Stapp and Nesheiwat married in 2006. They have three children together: Jagger (aged 16), Milan (aged 7) and Daniel (aged 4). Regardless of whether the allegations included in the paperwork filed by Nesheiwat on Wednesday prove founded, it certainly looks as though this is set to be another messy divorce.
