The CCTV video footage of Suge Knight running over two men - killing one - has been released online. TMZ.com obtained the clip and posted online and it will now become the key piece of evidence in the trial.

Suge KnightSuge Knight's hit-and-run footage was released on TMZ.com this week

The video appears to show Suge's red truck pull up in front of Cle 'Bone' Sloan, who was working on security for the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. Bone appears to attack Suge through the driver's window and Knight throws the car into reverse, clipping Bone with the side view mirror and knocking him down.

Next, Terry Carter - the man who ended up dead - enters the parking lot and Knight guns the truck and hits him. Knight claims he was not trying to run down either man and instead was trying to escape out of fear he would be killed himself.

Law enforcement tells TMZ that they believe the video shows Suge could have escaped after hitting Bone but that he instead chose to mow down Terry. Knight believes the video exonerates him and backs up his claims that both the victims had guns. As Bone lies on the ground, another man is clearly seen walking up to him and removing something from him, and putting it in his waistband.

Gary Dordick, representing Terry's family, said they asked TMZ to release the video.

"The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video," he said.
