Indian icon Amitabh Bachchan made Bollywood proud as he carried the Olympic flame through London on Thursday (26Jul12).
Hundreds of fans lined the streets of Southwark, in south London, to cheer the 69-year-old actor as he jogged with the flame one day before the Games' opening ceremony on Friday (27Jul12).
He took to Twitter.com to share his excitement, writing, "Honored to be asked to carry the Olympic Torch in London at Southwark!! A proud moment for me and (my) country."
