Finn Wolfhard relished having the chance to spend time with 'Ghostbusters' icons such as Dan Aykroyd and Annie Potts during the making of 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire'.
Finn Wolfhard was grateful to spend time with 'Ghostbusters' legends on the set of the latest movie.
The 21-year-old actor reprises his role as Trevor Spengler in 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' and embraced the opportunity to work closely with original stars including Dan Aykroyd and Annie Potts.
Asked if he got to spend more time with the original cast members this time around, Finn told The Hollywood Reporter: "Yeah, tons more. We spent so many days together on set, and we hung out a few times outside of set as well. Dan, Annie and everyone are such open books, and you can ask them anything about their lives and their industry stories.
"You can ask Dan about 'Saturday Night Live' in 1975, and he just remembers it all off the top of his head. So it's really surreal to be in a room with these people, but they make you feel equal, which is really nice. There's no ego or anything. There's mutual respect."
Finn explained that it is still difficult to process that he is part of the famous supernatural franchise.
The 'Stranger Things' actor said: "I think about this all the time. It's really weird, and I don't think I'm going to really process it until I'm 40 and I have kids.
"When we were filming ('Frozen Empire'), I remember getting into my suit and just looking in the mirror and being like, 'What the hell?' Just having my own suit was so surreal. If I were to tell my 12-year-old self all this, he would die. It's so crazy.
"All I know is that I'm very lucky to be a part of these ensembles of great actors and to be a part of projects that touch so many people and make a lot of people laugh."
