Kellan Lutz - 2015 Fragrance Foundation Awards at Avery Fisher Hall - New York, New York, United States - Wednesday 17th June 2015
Kellan Lutz - Kellan Lutz arrives at Los Angeles International (LAX) airport at lax - Los Angeles, California, United States - Saturday 23rd May 2015
Striking a tone somewhere between the po-faced original and the silly Part 2, this rampaging action nonsense is badly overcrowded and chaotic, but there's plenty of comedy and whizzy stuntwork to keep the audience entertained. It of course helps a lot that the film is packed to the rafters with iconic actors and lively newcomers. And their sassy dialogue helps make up for the idiotic plot.
It opens with a prison break, as Barney (Sylvester Stallone) and his team (Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture and Terry Crews) rescue their old cohort Doc (Wesley Snipes) then head off on a mysterious mission that turns out to involve their presumed-dead nemesis Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who is targeting Barney's team. So Barney and his pal Bonaparte (Kelsey Grammer) set about finding four new commandoes (Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell and Victor Ortiz) to take on Stonebanks, but of course nothing goes as plan. For the final face-off they're joined by the old team, CIA boss Drummer (Harrison Ford), former colleagues Trench and Yin (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jet Li), and chatty newcomer Galgo (Antonio Banderas).
The ever-increasing cast means that some characters can't help but be pushed into the shadows (Crews and Li are barely in this film), while others hover around the edges of scenes injecting moments of sarcastic wit. Each of the characters gets his or her moment of eye-popping action, as the film lurches from set-piece to set-piece in a whirl of bombs, bullets and blades. All of this is fun because the actors are gleefully refusing to take any of this seriously. The scene-stealers this time are Gibson, terrific as the swaggering villain, and Banderas, who's hilarious as the only person who can string a sentence together.

Barney Ross is the fearless leader of elite New Orleans mercenary team The Expendables who are still as active and formidable as ever despite the ever nearing limitations of age. And it seems those limitations could be closer than ever as they face their most serious challenge yet. When The Expendables' co-founder Conrad Stonebanks became engulfed in a world of crime and arms dealing, Barney made the difficult decision to kill his partner. However, it seems Stonebanks isn't as dead as Barney thought and he's now hellbent on ending The Expendables once and for all. With such a deadly threat facing them, the team decide to recruit; enlisting a younger, fitter and smarter group to join them and bring down their nemesis. With fresh blood and higher numbers, The Expendables are sure to succeed in their latest mission - but will age differences get in the way of their solidarity?
'The Expendables 3' introduces an extended, all star ensemble cast in the final instalment of 'The Expendables' move series. Directed by Patrick Hughes ('Red Hill') and co-written by Katrin Benedikt, Creighton Rothenberger ('Olympus Has Fallen'), Dave Callaham ('Doom') and star Sylvester Stallone ('Rambo'), the movie will be unveiled in UK cinemas on August 15th 2014.
The 90th film based on the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, this German-made animated romp adds little to the century-old canon besides some motion-capture action and an eco-friendly message. But it's a watchable adventure with thrilling set-pieces and engaging characters, even if the animation isn't quite up to par and the plot feels thoroughly contrived.
It opens by going back millions of years to the dinosaurs being wiped out by a mystical meteor that sinks into the middle of Africa and sends out moody vibes. In the present day, investigating archaeologists are killed in a helicopter crash, but their 4-year-old son JJ Greystoke (voiced by Garner) survives and is raised by a kindly gorilla mother. Renaming himself Tarzan, the "ape with no hair", the teenaged Tarzan (now Zetterholm) has his first run-in with humans, meeting Jane (Locke), daughter of his father's former colleague Jim (Bubb). But it's a few years later before Tarzan (now Lutz) runs into Jane again, and she's now in danger because company boss Clayton (St. John) is manipulating her into participating in his evil plan.
Tarzan fans will enjoy the continual references to years of books, movies and comics, including an unusually sexy "me Tarzan, you Jane" subplot that has a surprising spark of chemistry. And the gorillas are beautifully rendered as strong characters with a fascinating culture all their own (thankfully they don't speak). Even so, everything feels oddly simplistic, mainly because the plot demands that we feel some sympathy for this simmering meteor, which needs to be undisturbed for a reason that never quite makes sense.

Dwayne Johnson stars as Hercules in what could be this summer's biggest blockbuster.
Dwayne Johnson has hammered home the secrecy behind Paramount and MGM's new Hercules movie by claiming that almost fifty crew-members were fired for attempting to take pictures of him in full regalia.
Dwayne Johnson as Hercules
Johnson himself was guilty of tweeting numerous pictures from the set of the Greek epic, though always teased his own character without giving too much away. This, he suggested, was part of his social master-plan.
Kellan Lutz appears at a press junket interview to talk about his leading role in epic action flick 'The Legend Of Hercules'. He talks about superheroes, going to Bulgaria to shoot and preparing for this challenging part.

Alcides is the son of Olympian ruler Zeus and mortal Queen Alcmene who brought him into the world secretly with the true name of Hercules. He knows not of his real name or the circumstances of his conception, and instead believes his father to be the tyrant King Amphitryon. He knows that there's something about himself that doesn't fit in with the rest of his family; his father favours his brother and heir to the throne Iphicles, who is promised Hebe, Princess of Crete (and Hercules lover) as a wife. In a desperate bid to stay together, Hercules and Hebe plan to elope, but before they can make their move, Hercules is ordered to battle. When an army fails to kill him, he is forced alongside his comrade to take part in a series of gladiator events, but it soon becomes clear that Hercules is no ordinary man when he starts to reveal his indomitable strength.
This epic action flick is based on the original Ancient Greek myth and has been directed by Renny Harlin ('Die Hard 2', 'Deep Blue Sea', 'Cliffhanger'), alongside writers Daniel Giat ('Path to War'), Sean Hood and Giulio Steve. 'The Legend Of Hercules' is due to be released in the UK on March 28th 2014.

'The Legend of Hercules', starring Kellan Lutz, has been universally panned by critics ahead of its release in the US.
Kellan Lutz graces our screens once again in budgie smugglers, showing off perfect form but a poor taste in scripts. The Legend of Hercules, in which Lutz stars as the eponymous hero, has failed to impress critics ahead of its US release.
Kellan Lutz stars as Hercules.
Here's a short synopsis of this particular variation of the Hercules myth. Hercules has grown up unaware he is a demi-god, namely the son of Zeus and a mortal. He has been raised in a royal household, believing he is the son of King Amphitryon (Scott Adkins) . Hercules' adopted brother Iphicles (Liam Garrigan), with whom he has an ongoing feud, becomes engaged to Hebe (Gaia Weiss), the princess of Crete. Of course Hercules is in love with Hebe and this causes more than a few problems for our muscle bound hero. Hercules and Hebe attempt to elope but are caught and Hercules is subsequently banished and sold into slavery. He then, without any regard for historical accuracy, becomes a gladiator.

The pair were recently spotted in Las Vegas together, sparking rumours of a budding relationship
The rumoured budding romance between Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz looks to be dying away as soon as it began, as reports have emerged claiming that their suspected romance is nothing more than a brief fling. Having been spotted together at various points over the past few weeks, most recently in Las Vegas at the end of December, the pair were as good as together in the media's eye, but now it seems as though that isn't quite the case.
It turns out Miley and Kellan might not be an item after all
According to a source close to the pair, speaking with E! News, the two both have a thing for each other and are spending time together, however this will never amount to anything more than a quick fling between them. According to the source, neither are very keen to start up anything official and are enjoying their single lives too much to think about commitment. What's more, the hunky Twilight actor is apparently fed up of the media attention being seen with Miley has already given him already, so he wants to end receiving the unwanted stares as soon as possible.
A formidable group of New Orleans mercenaries led by the no-nonsense Barney Ross are starting to feel less invincible than they used to. Their latest mission sees them bump into the crazed co-founder of the elite team, Conrad Stonebanks, who Ross thought he killed a long time ago when he turned against the law and began arms dealing. Now Stonebanks will stop at nothing until everyone of the expendables are wiped out. Ross and his team are feeling less than confident and decide to enlist a fresh team of skilled warriors who are much younger, fitter and more in tune with the ever developing technology of the armed forces. Will the young and the old be able to work together to bring down their latest nemesis? Or will the generational clash do more harm than good?
