N Sync Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake and the rest of Nsync have received their first award in sixteen years by being honored with a star on the Hollyood Walk of Fame. It's the 2,636th star in fact, and came at the most appropriate moment as fans everywhere screamed 'It's Gonna Be May'.

The 90s boyband reunited for a truly star-studded ceremony yesterday (April 30th 2018), with Justin Timberlake joining bandmates Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick fresh of the back of his weekend shows at the Forum in Inglewood. NSYNC join the likes of other Boulevard Stars - Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, New Kids on the Block and New Edition - but the thing about this ceremony is the absolute perfect timing.

Justin Timberlake Accepts Pop Label

Justin Timberlake N Sync Timbaland Pharrell Williams

Justin Timberlake admitted he was inspired to be open with his music after realising he may not shake his 'pop star' label.

The 'SexyBack' singer was initially a little disappointed when reviews for his 2002 debut solo album 'Justified' kept him in the more mainstream genre despite his efforts in pushing for a more R&B-influenced sound after his time with boy band Nsync.

Speaking with Zane Lowe on 'Beats 1', he said: ''I was like, 'Wow I really made an R&B album.' I really wanted to make an R&B album.

N Sync And The Backstreet Boys Made All Our 90s Dreams Come True On SNL

N Sync Backstreet Boys Justin Timberlake Lance Bass

Guys. N Sync reunion. It happened. As with most classic pop culture moments, it happened during an episode of SNL. And the Backstreet Boys were there too. It wasn’t a coincidence either, as Valentine’s Day marked SNL’s 40th anniversary episode, so they had to make it a bit more special.

Who even needs a Valentine, when you've got the full line-up of N Sync together again.

The N Sync guys tweeted about their appearance earlier in the day, from their official account: "'Together again...Gee, it's good to be together again' #SNL40.”

VMAs Reminded Us Of Why We Hated Each Other - No NSYNC Reunion Then?

Justin Timberlake N Sync

Any Nsync fans out there latently hoping for a full-fledged reunion to add to the band’s mini one at the MTV VMAs better get ready for some disappointing news: they’re not getting back together, and if anything, their brief flirtation with a comeback simply reminded them what split them up in the first place.

"It was funny because all of us getting back together, we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other," band member Chris Kirkpatrick said Monday in a Florida radio interview with Johnny's House. "It was just a bit of fun. (U.S Magazine)

According to Kirkpatrick, the whole thing was designed to help Justin out; they were part of his set, and the goal was not to mess it up for him. "Honestly, when he talked to us I thought we were just coming out with mic stands and singing," he admitted. "When I came home from rehearsals my girl's like 'Why are you drenched?' . . .I'm too old for this! I was so worried about not messing up for him."

N Sync Reunion On The Way? Band Reportedly Planning Comeback For VMAs

N Sync Justin Timberlake Jay Z Kanye West Michael Jackson Janet Jackson

N Sync reunion at the VMAs? Surely this is too good to be true! Well apparently this is supposedly what is going to happen at the Snday, 25 August awards show, according to reports coming from within MTV. Vulture first reported that it had heard from people working behind the scenes at the VMAs that Justin, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and JC Chasez will once again be hooking up for a long, long awaited reunion.

Justin Timberlake
Justin will be awarded the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Awards at this weekend's ceremony

As already reported, Justin is already going to receive a special award on the night; the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in honour of his long-serving career in the music biz, but as good a news this is, the fact that he'll be there with the boys from his N Sync days just makes this the best news we've heard all week. After a thoroughly triumphant return to the music scene this year with his well-received 20/20 Experience and the upcoming follow-up, The 20/20 Experience 2 Of 2, it was thought that Justin's own success would get in the way of any N Sync reunion ever happening, but luckily this clearly isn't the case.

Are 'N Sync Reuniting After Their MTV Music Awards Performance?

'N Sync may be reuniting at the MTV Music Awards on Sunday (25th August). If reports are correct, this will be the first time the band have appeared together, and performed, on television in a decade.

It was confirmed, by the New York Post, that 'N Sync members Jc Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will be appearing on stage alongside Justin Timberlake. The group last performed in 2004 at a charity event, but their last televised performance was at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

Not All Of N-Sync Was At JT's Wedding. So What?

Justin Timberlake Jessica Biel N Sync

That's right folks, just two of N*Sync's members (including the groom), turned up at Justin Timberlake's wedding to Jessica Biel last weekend, according to MTV.

JC Chasez, as reported by TMZ, attended his brother's wedding in Florida, and let Justin know well in advance that he'd not be able to make it to his band mate's wedding - that's fair enough. Neither Joey Fatone nor Lance Bass made the trip to Italy for the nuptials either. Since N-Sync, Justin has gone on to have an enormously successful solo music career, as well as forging his place in Hollywood as a respectable and talented actor. Many media outlets are questioning the absence of the full N-Sync cohort as something abnormal, or as though there is a major rift between Justin and the rest of the band. However, this outcry begs the question: would you invite your old colleagues that you haven't worked with for over ten years to your wedding? Would you ask everyone from your high school, your primary school? No? Maybe a select few, but ten years is a long time, and quite simply, Joey and Lance not attending is just no big deal.

Those who were in attendance at the Italian celebrations included Andy Samberg, Questlove DJ and Beverly Mitchell. As more information about the wedding leaks, we learn that Justin and his groomsmen all wore Tom Ford, while Jessica Biel wore a Giambattista Valli creation in pink and white, which Bobbie Thomas said gave Biel a "princess like silhouette", according to Us Magazine. We can't wait for more details- especially photos of that fairytale dress.

Dancing With The Stars Update: Joey Fatone Out!

Joey Fatone N Sync Bristol Palin Dancing With The Stars

Joey Fatone is the latest of the Dancing With The Stars contestants to bite the dust, as the ex-N Sync boy-bander was voted off the show, reports The Washington Post.

He didn’t seem too perturbed, though: “I’ll miss everybody out here,” Fatone said as the show ended. “I’m actually going to a wedding tomorrow, so I don’t give a damn! I’m going to have a good time...as long as I had fun, I don’t care what your votes say.” As the pair headed to the centre of the ballroom for a final dance, partner Kym put her arms around him and sobbed on his shoulder as he patted her back. The pair had managed a judges' score of 22.5 out of a possible 30 for their Chaplin-esque quickstep Monday night, and come results night, they were out of luck and off the show.

Going into Tuesday's results show, Bristol Palin was way at the bottom of the pack with a low score of 18, but somehow she managed to survive to dance another week, and she’ll have to up her game, as a daunting double elimination looms over the celebs and their partners. “It is what it is, I’m going to get 6’s no matter what,” she moaned backstage to Mark, clearly upset with her low scoring.
