'Deadpool' star Ryan played a game on 'Conan' where he would read out something he was promoting and everyone had to guess whether or not it was real. They ranged from ham underwear and a new documentary called 'Dolphins And How To Stop Them', to parenting book '10 Easy Steps To Lower Your Child's Self-Esteem' and children's song album 'Civil War Wound Sing-Along'. But the main event was his latest movie 'The Notebook 2'.

Conan O'Brien will be calling TBS home for at least a few more years.

The comedian's late-night talk show 'Conan' has been extended until 2018, the television network announced on Wednesday (May 15th).

The renewal adds three more years onto O'Brien's current contract, which was going to expire in November, and is set bring his total time at TBS to nearly 8 years.

Conan O’Brien will be talking to guests for an extra three years as TBS extended his show, Conan, until 2014. 

While falling behind some of the big guns on the late night scene, TBS says Conan has more adults 18-34 than some of his bigger competitors — including CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! That’s the key demographic on which most shows are judged, hence the healthy extension.

Seth Meyers has been announced as the host of the 2015 Emmy awards this August. This caps off a great year for Meyers, who recently went from head writer for SNL and host of the show’s recurring Weekend Update segment to hosting his own late night show. Meyers took over NBC’s Late Night from Jimmy Fallon, after Fallon moved on to Tonight in the place of Jay Leno. It was a bit like a game of musical chairs over at NBC, but the white male hosts all managed to come out on top.

Seth Meyers is having a very successful year.

The Television academy confirmed Meyers’ appointment on Thursday, in keeping with the tradition of picking the host from the pool at the network, broadcasting the Emmys – in this case, NBC. The network will air the event, arguably the biggest night in television, on Monday, August 25. This schedule means that the Emmys take place in the last week before the new fall television season begins each year. The Emmy ceremony is typically broadcast on a Sunday, but this year, being broadcast on NBC, the Emmys would interfere with the NFL's “Sunday Night Football,” and so the Emmys are being moved to the next available date.

The big news this morning has to be the Mtv Movie Awards. Since it’s so far out of awards season and generally awards the biggest movies of the year, the awards are a good way to see where the wind is blowing, for this summer, in terms of blockbusters. So here is your much needed rundown. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire won Movie of the Year (is anyone really surprised) and still mostly rules the young adult and sci-fi scenes, with new hopeful Divergent. With Conan O’Brien hosting, Hunger Games leads Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson snapped up Best Female Performance and Best Male Performance, respectively, E! News reports. Meanwhile, the red carpet was just as eventful.

America's favorite Young Hollywood leads are yet to be dethroned.

Parks & Rec’s Chris Pratt, who is set to have one epic summer with Guardians of the Galaxy, stopped for some red carpet interviews and said he and wife Anna Faris are working on developing Vacation Friends, a comedy recently bought by Fox. "It will be a chance for us to work together again," he said. "It's in the preliminary stages,” Pratt told USA Today.

Taking the baton from last year's host Rebel Wilson, 2014 will be the first time that Conan has hosted the movie awards.

Jimmy Fallon's reign as host of Late Night has come to a timely finish and after the comic aired the compilation special The Best of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Sunday, 5 December, night it was very much the beginning of the end. Not to worry though, as the final bow from Fallon on the Late Show came with a friendly reminder that Fallon will be back in even bigger shoes to walk in very soon.

As the trailer (watch below) points out, Fallon is moving on to continue 60 years of television tradition when he replaces Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show next month, and the trailer doesn't toy around with how important the gig is for Fallon. Featuring clips of every Tonight Show host to fall before him, from Jack Paar, Carnac the Magnificent (and Johnny Carson in normal attire), a very young Jay Leno, Steve Allen and even Conan O'Brien, the emphasis on what Fallon faces isn't sugarcoated. After all, we don't want another Conan-fiasco again do we?

Evangeline Lilly’s Women’s Health magazine cover has caused a bit of a stir, as The Hobbit actress publicly objected against the way she is portrayed. Essentially, Women’s Health did the thing that magazines have been doing since time immemorial and blatantly objectified Lilly’s body. It can’t get more overt than an arrow, pointing to the actress’ behind with the words “Best Butt Ever” printed over it.

Lilly has a diverse and long-standing acting career, but "Women's Health" reduced her to the "best butt ever."

Lilly, who plays Tauriel in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (out in the US today) wasn’t too happy about it either. When she stopped by Conan to promote the movie, the host asked her directly about the not-so-subtle cover.

Conan O’Brien and Chelsea Handler found themselves caught up in a rather awkward confrontation… in the studio shower. Naked. The funny skit was shown on the Chelsea Lately show last night (April 3, 2013) and frankly, we’re grateful that modern technology has developed enough to include the art of pixellation. Even with it, there wasn’t much left to the imagination here.

The root of Chelsea and Conan’s apparent beef seems to be that Conan’s mad at Chelsea for taking over his studio. And his shower. And his parking space. And his back massager. The funny bit there, for the record, is that Chelsea claims she’s been using that back massager every day. But claims she didn’t realise it was for her back (we’ll let you figure that one out yourselves…). The skit then takes a rather bizarre tongue as Conan claims that he’s getting turned on by Chelsea’s nudity and they go on to have an odd debate about whether or not Chelsea is in fact a man or a woman. The sketch ends with the arrival of O’Brien’s sidekick Chuy Bravo, on a mobility scooter. Also naked.

As Kristen Stewart says goodbye to Twilight, she is also waving goodbye to her long-time habit of smoking, stating that she expects going cold turkey to be easier than most make out because she doesn't have an addiction to  nicotine, but rather she is more concerned about having something in her mouth.

The orally fixated actress was speaking to Conan O'Brien on his late-night chat show when she deemed it time to give up the nasty habit, admitting that "I was a bit of a faker, a circumstantial smoker, I just feel like I wasn't addicted to nicotine. I just wanted something in my mouth." 

Say what you like about K-Stew, but one thing is for sure is that she knows how to give the internet plenty of ammo to use against her, with the actress immediately realising that she had provided one heck of a sexual pun. Once she let slip of her mouth-bound passion, an embarrassed looking Kristen asked O'Brien, "Why did I do that?" We're not sure, Kristen, but thank you anyway.

J.J Abrams was breaking all the rules as he defied Paramount Pictures to bring Conan a special preview clip of the new Star Trek film that he has been assembling. E! Online reports that Abrams is currently hard at work on a sequel to the hit 2009 feature length edition of the franchise Star Trek Into Darkness and Trekkies the world over have been desperate to get a preview clip of the new film. Well they got that - sort of.

Abrams decision to bring in a preview despite the reservations of the studio wasn't exactly a big two finger up at Paramount. We got a preview alright - a three frame long preview. "Paramount was really unhappy with me at the idea of bringing anything. I told them I really wanted to do it, and they said, 'It's gotta be really short," Abrams told Conan O'Brien. "I said, 'OK, I can bring one,' and they said, 'It can't be longer than three frames.' It's three frames but it's all there."

The frame apparently showed a young Spock, being played by Zachary Quinto, standing in a volcano with flames all around him. That was it. Better than nothing we suppose, and the pair had a good laugh about it, with O'Brien standing up to give the clip a standing ovation. Hopefully the next preview will be a touch more informative.

The Demi Lovato X factor was there for all to see as the feisty young star came out the better of a verbal ding dong with her boss Simon Cowell on Conan O'Brien's chat show. The Sun reports that the duo were there to promote the new series of X Factor, which has just kicked off out in the States, and Lovato brought exactly the same outspoken energy that she's been displaying so far on the program to the chat show couch.

Joking to O'Brien, Lovato quipped "We're trying to reach a younger demographic, and I don't feel we're going to accomplish that when he's showing more cleavage than Britney [Spears] and I are." Cowell, who has recently seen revelations come out in public that suggested he'd told UK X Factor bosses to re-hire Dannii Minogue "for her t*ts", suggested that Lovato and third judge Britney Spears could show more cleavage. However, he was fought down by the 20 year-old who also joked that normally Simon "could braid his chest hair".

Lovato also called Cowell an "a**hole" during the broadcast and, feeling picked on, the beleaguered music mogul turned to O'Brien and pleaded: "Tell her to stop picking on me, please." There was no one on his side in front of the cameras though, with the talk show host replying sarcastically: "Don't pick on him! He's a kind man who's NEVER insulted anyone!" Poor Simon.
