Adele Leads American Music Awards Nominations

Adele has been nominated for four American Music Awards including Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favourite Album for '21'.
Adele leads the nominations for the 2011 American Music Awards with four nods.
The 'Someone Like You' hitmaker - who recently was forced to cancel her American tour due to illness - will compete in the categories Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favourite Album for '21'.
Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry and Rihanna received three nominations and Lil Wayne, Taylor, Katy and Gaga will all compete with Adele in the Artist of the Year category.
Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Jason Aldean, Kanye West and LMFAO have all been nominated in two categories as have Nicki Minaj and Pitbull, who announced the nominees today (11.10.11).
The 39th annual American Music Awards will be held November 20 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
