J-Lo, Sting & Enrique Iglesias Perform At Lavish '$1 Billion' Wedding Of Russian Oligarch's Son

Jennifer Lopez Sting Enrique Iglesias

There’s splashing out on your wedding day, and then there’s this. In what’s rumoured to be the most lavish wedding ceremony in history, serious stars such as Sting, Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias performed for the son of a Russian billionaire and his bride in a day of celebrations in Moscow rumoured to have cost over $1 billion.

Said Gutseriev, 28, the son of energy tycoon Mikhail Gutseriev, and his 20 year old bride Khadija Uzhakhova, tied the knot in the Russian capital on Saturday (March 26th). At the subsequent ceremony, rumoured to have been attended by 600 guests, the three pop stars performed their famous hits while attendees enjoyed a nine-tier wedding cake and a huge fireworks display.

Wedding guests took numerous pictures and videos at the ceremony, which appear to feature the venue’s walls completely covered with floral displays.

The Best And The Worst Performances In Super Bowl History (Videos)

Diana Ross No Doubt The Who Whitney Houston Beyonce Knowles Christina Aguilera Madonna Enrique Iglesias Janet Jackson Justin Timberlake

The Super Bowl half-time entertainment shows have slowly evolved into one of the biggest deals in the entertainment industry. Get it right, get richer (you’ll already be rich, if you’re performing at the Super Bowl, these days). Get it wrong? Suffer at least 12 months of ridicule and about a fortnight of humiliation every year subsequently, as people like us dig up lists like this to remind everyone of your shame.

A good Super Bowl Halftime Show can be life-affirming. Patriotism in its finest form; live music at its glitziest and its most extravagant. Here are five of the best:

5. Diana Ross, Sun Devil Stadium, 1996

Five Of The Worst: Beyonce For Super Bowl 2013; She'll Surely Be Better Than This Lot?

Beyonce Knowles Black Eyed Peas Madonna Mia Nicki Minaj Slash Justin Timberlake Janet Jackson Enrique Iglesias Christina Aguilera New Kids On The Block

So it is Beyonce's turn to lead out the fun and games at the famous Super Bowl half-time show. Quite frankly it's been a long time coming; one of the premiere pop stars of the past decade and more, the former Destiny's Child's star power has been calling out for her to get the spot at some point. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves and assume that just because she is who she is, she's going to deliver a stunning fifteen minutes. Plenty of big names have been known to fall; here are some of, what we reckon to be the worst half-time shows in Super Bowl history.

Madonna, M.I.A, Nicki Minaj, 2012

The fact that everyone was talking about M.I.A having the audacity to stick her finger up at television cameras tells you just how boring this half-time show actually was. A creaking Madonna did what she's ended up doing on most of her shows this year and sent her crowd into a stupor, with garish and brash visuals and costume not making up for an utter formulaic performance from the (former?) Queen of Pop. She should be thanking M.I.A for giving us a reason to remember it to be honest.

Enrique Iglesias: "I'd Change My Penis If I Could"

Enrique Iglesias Anna Kournikova Julio Iglesias

Mexican singing sensation Enrique Iglesias has admitted to having what he thinks is the "smallest penis in the world". The pop star was offered 1 million GBP once in order to promote extra-small condoms, shocking his fans by revealing the small size of his member. During a performance in Melbourne, Australia, a fan commended on his "good looks", prompting Iglesias to reply with: "What does Spanish good looks have to do with the size of your penis? Maybe I have the Spanish looks but I have the smallest penis in the world. I'm serious."

The 36-year-old singer dated former tennis player, Anna Kournikova, for nearly 10 years, stated that he was 25 when he lost his virginity, but later backtracked to say he was 17 and the experience only lasted for 10 seconds. Iglesias then invited three men onto the stage and explained: "I grew up with a lot of my friends and all of them lost their virginity with hookers, not that there's anything wrong with that. They had to pay for it. I wanted to wait for the right girl so I waited until I was 25. I was nervous as s**t the first time. Usually the first time is not the best. Let me be honest, I was 17-and-a-half, I was so nervous. It lasted ten seconds."

Once Upon A Time In Mexico Review

Weak

"Desperado," the second eye-poppingly stylish and unabashedly outlandish B-movie in Robert Rodriguez's "El Mariachi" shoot-'em-up trilogy, is one of my all-time favorite action movies, in part because it has its priorities straight: The plot was simple -- a nameless mariachi avenges his girlfriend's murder with a guitar case full of semi-automatic weapons and an endless supply of ammunition -- and the action was non-stop and over-the-top.

Antonio Banderas cut an imposing, mysterious, hell-bent, dangerous and dead sexy figure in his long hair, implacable glower and black suede bandito get-up -- complete with jangling spurs -- as he performed a limber slow-motion ballet of body-twisting, two-fisted gunfire while dodging hails of bullets from evil drug-runners. And all this was set to a steamy, dynamic south-of-the-border score by the great guitaristas of Los Lobos.

But in the new installment, "Once Upon a Time in Mexico," writer-director-editor-composer Rodriguez pollutes the action -- which is uncharacteristically erratic, incongruous and over-edited -- with a needlessly convoluted plot involving 1) a thorny coup attempt against the Mexican president backed by a cartel kingpin (Willem Dafoe) and his turncoat henchman (Mickey Rourke), 2) a crooked and borderline-loco CIA agent (Johnny Depp) playing both sides against the middle, 3) a former FBI agent (Ruben Blades) frustrated with not nailing the kingpin before his retirement, 4) a curvaceous, gung-ho greenhorn federale (Eva Mendez) with ulterior motives, and 5) yet another murder, played out in fantasized-action flashbacks, that the mariachi is out to avenge.

Enrique Iglesias Surgically Removes His Famous Mole

Enrique Iglesias

Latin Grammy Award-winner, Enrique Iglesias, has decided to part ways with the mole on his face, having it removed in an operation that lasted only five minutes, and was equally bloody and painless. The singer, who recently released his Spanish album 'Quizás' in 2002, shocked his fans early this year when he was photographed without the trademark mole.
