Celebrities loaded off the ferry as A-lister like Jason Sudeikis, Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, Amy Poehler, Jimmy Fallon and Kenan Thompson flooded on to the island to help SNL star Seth and Alexi celebrate their marriage and give Vineyardites a thrill as some of television's biggest stars rocked up in their gladrags.

The bride and groom chose to hold their wedding on the island not only for its picturesque setting but because Ashe's parents own a property on the island and provides a welcome holiday destination for the pair when they want to get away from the relentless pace of Hollywood life.

Having met at someone's else wedding several years ago, the couple dated for some time before they finally decided to make things official. Meyers told People how he took a risk to make his proposal unforgettable. "I tied [the ring] in a bow around our dog's collar," Seth revealed, adding that Alexi came home later than expected. "I just had to sit there looking at the dog. I was like, "The dog's going to eat the ring!''

Ever the romantic, Seth also told of how he became "teary-eyed" when his love accepted his rather unconventional proposal. "He's very excited for the next phase of his life," a source told Us Magazine. "He's known that she's The One for a while, but it was all about timing." The soon-to-be Late Night host wore a dark suit whilst Ashe opted for a cap sleeve lace dress to exchange their vows in front of 150 guests, reports Yahoo! omg!. Guests at the rehearsal dinner were treated to fresh local produce on tables adorned with flowers at Beetlebung Farm House.

Meyers is looking forward to taking over Jimmy Fallon's Late Night show in 2014 when Fallon replaces Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
