Frances Was Nervous Working With Greg Kurstin

Adele Sir Paul McCartney

Frances found it nerve-wracking going into the studio with Adele's producer Greg Kurstin.

The 24-year-old rising star - whose real name is Sophie Frances Cooke - jumped straight into working the renowned producer shortly after he spent time with the 28-year-old songstress getting her chart-topping single 'Hello' together.

The flame-haired beauty, who had hits 'Gravity' and 'Don't Worry About Me', was aware of how prestigious the 47-year-old songwriter is and so she decided to go in with an idea in mind for her track.

At the ceremony Adele won five awards, making her now a 15-time Grammy winner and she also performed an emotional tribute to the late George Michael.

Adele's Changing Fashion Style

Adele

It's quite remarkable how much Adele's fashion choices have change over the years. She's gone from uber casual to uber chic over a period of eight years. Thick knits, leggings and loose fits were her go-to wardrobe staples, but now she's into a more mature, glamorous approach to dressing.

Stephen Fry Calls Little Mix's Music "Horrible"; Claims To Have "Heard Of" Adele

Stephen Fry Little Mix Adele

Stephen Fry has condemned the state of modern pop music in a new interview, claiming Little Mix to be “horrible” and “toxic” before saying that he’s “not interested” in the state of the pop charts in 2015.

The popular broadcaster and comic actor reviewed a selection of singles released by various artists in 2015 for BBC’s Newsbeat. However, it turns out that Fry isn’t that clued-up on modern pop music, claiming to have “heard of” Adele but very little else.

He saved his most savage criticisms for Little Mix, the 2011 winners of ‘The X Factor’, reacting to their recent single ‘Love Me Like You’ by calling it “horrible! It's just bubblegum pop,” he added.

Forget Adele V Tom Waits, Here's 13 Songs We've Definitely Heard Before

Adele Bruno Mars Oasis

Adele's new song 'Hello' has had the internet going crazy these past few weeks; people are excited for the release of her upcoming comeback album '25' and thus have this across-the-board number one on repeat. However, as with a lot of hit tracks, it hasn't been without its criticism and in this case people are commenting on the remarkable similarity to a Californian storyteller we all know and love.

AdeleAdele waves 'Hello' to Tom Waits with new single

The Tom Waits comparison has, in itself, been critized; but whatever people say, the fact can't be ignored that the lyrics to 'Hello' do bare remarkable parallels with Waits' 1973 song 'Martha'. Both dictate a phonecall to a long lost lover, reminiscing about their early days and reflecting on their young, foolish selves. It's not exactly a copy, merely a divine inspiration.

Tom Waits Fans Have A Feeling They've Heard Adele's 'Hello' Before

Adele Tom Waits

Adele might be enjoying massive success with her comeback single ‘Hello’, but fans of American singer Tom Waits have accused her of ‘ripping off’ his 1973 track ‘Martha’. Waits fans have been pointing out the similarities between the two songs on social media, as both are based on a similar theme.

Adele Did Adele ‘rip off’ Tom Waits for ‘Hello’?

‘Martha’ begins with the lyrics: 'Hello, hello there, is this Martha? This is old Tom Frost / And I am calling long distance, don't worry 'bout the cost / 'Cause it's been forty years or more, now Martha please recall / Meet me out for coffee, where we'll talk about it all.’
