Guns N' Roses Booed As They Forget Which City They're Playing In

Guns N Roses Axl Rose

Reformed rock legends Guns N’ Roses were greeted with heckling and booing from an audience in Melbourne this week, as they took to the stage more than an hour late and got the name of the city totally wrong.

The American rock act are in the middle of the Asia / Oceania leg of their extensive Not In This Lifetime tour, which sees the so-called ‘classic line-up’ members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan sharing a stage for the first time since 1993.

However, when they called in at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday night (February 14th), they arrived late and greeted the crowd by shouting ‘Sydney’. Oops.

Izzy Stradlin Slams Axl Rose's Comments About Guns N' Roses Reunion

Axl Rose Guns N Roses

Having marked himself out as the only original member of Guns N’ Roses not to participate in the current reunion, guitarist Izzy Stradlin has drawn speculation from Gunners fans as to why he’s refused to play along.

Finally, he’s broken his silence on social media by replying to lead singer Axl Rose’s comments last week, saying that the financial split for the tour wasn’t satisfactory for him.

Rose had told a Brazilian TV station on Tuesday, ahead of Guns N’ Roses’ string of South American tour dates, that 54 year old Stradlin just wasn’t up for it, and didn’t go into details except to imply that he was disorganised and unreliable.

GUNS N' ROSES were detained at the Canadian border last week after they were caught with a gun in their possession.

The hard rock band were stopped at the airport in Toronto last Friday (15.07.16) ahead of their gig later that day in the city in Ontario, and found with the weapon on them.

Frontman Axl Rose later told the audience at the gig held at the Rogers Centre: ''We weren't exactly arrested. We were detained. They [the custom officers] were very nice, they were very understanding. You know, it happens: You can forget you have a fucking gun. It wasn't my gun.''

Axl Rose Is Trying To Erase An Embarrassing Photo From The Web

Axl Rose

No-one likes a guy who takes himself way too seriously, but that's not stopping Axl Rose from going absolutely ape about a particularly unflattering snap of him floating around the internet captioned by a multitude of fat jokes. He's probably managed to double the memes by now.

Axl RoseHas Axl Rose gone too far?

So the new AC/DC singer has taken out a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) on all replications of a certain photograph of him performing live at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Canada 6 years ago; he's looking less than his best and, to put it bluntly, a little chunky. As such, he's been turned into a string of memes captioned 'Sweet Piles Of Pie', 'Welcome To The Jungle, We Got Lots Of Cake' and 'Estupido Y Gordo' among many more.

Guns N' Roses Confirm North American Summer 2016 Reunion Tour

Guns N Roses Slash Axl Rose

One of this century's biggest musical reunions is set to arrive this year as GUNS N' ROSES confirm 21 tour dates in a short teaser video, with a line-up that rejoins guitarist Slash and singer Axl Rose for the first time in 23 years. The new dates are in addition to their upcoming appearance at Coachella in April.

Guns N' RosesGuns N' Roses hit the road again

We knew Axl Rose, Slash and bassist Duff McKagan were doing at least one reunion show this year as the Coachella news had already been announced, but it seems they are extending their tenure this year with no less than 21 further dates. However, we're still waiting on the actual details; the only information they have released is a 15 minute video on their site yesterday (March 25th 2016) featuring the names of US cities where they will be playing. It also plays a snippet of their song 'Patience', worryingly taken from an album entitled 'G N' R Lies' but we're trying not to think about that.

With their lead singer Brian Johnson sidelined with immediate effect because of his hearing problems, AC/DC are now reportedly considering inviting Guns ‘N’ Roses’ frontman Axl Rose to step in and provide lead vocals when their North American tour resumes.

In a report by Alternative Nation, a radio DJ from Atlanta named Jason Bailey claims that a “very very good source” has told him that the legendary rockers will recruit the controversial Gunners singer Rose for the remainder of their North American tour dates, having flown him to the US city to audition with them.

Axl Rose On Jimmy Kimmel: First Interview In Two Decades, Gives Tickets Away

Axl Rose Jimmy Kimmel Guns N Roses Barack Obama

Axl Rose gave his first interview for 20 years on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and was kind enough to give the lucky audience some free tickets for his 12-date stint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Gigwise reports.

"I think we got some tickets under the people's seats. There should be two sets of tickets if you reach under your seats," Rose told Kimmel, which lead an excited audience to delve under their seats to find, you guessed it, tickets. This was an incredibly rare appearance from Rose on television, and this was plain to see as the studio audience had to be calmed down by Kimmel when he entered the stage. His previous public outings have been shrouded in controversy, and his unpredictable personality has become somewhat of a USP, but Mr. Rose, now a family man, was calm and collected as he took to the couch circuit with consummate ease.

Axl Rose Issues Cease And Desist Over Fan Exhibition

Axl Rose

Axl Rose's legal team have demanded that a Los Angeles photographer cancel an art show inspired by the Guns N' Roses. Rose, who is pretty well-known for his difficulty (just ask, well, anyone) has had his lawyers fire off a cease and desist letter after discovering that snapper Laura London was showing an exhibition in Los Angeles called 'Once upon a time... Axl Rose was my neighbour.

The collection includes a photo of a garage door with 2Sweet Child O'Die you R 1 of many nothing special" spray-painted on it, as well as models dressed up in bandannas similar to the ones Rose famously sports. Lawyers for the star claim that the photographer alleges that it was Rose who wrote the graffiti, and have demanded that she close the exhibition completely and offer the rocker an apology.

In the letter, the lawyers write, "Mr. Rose never spray-painted anything. Your salacious and inflammatory statements are plainly designed to garner attention and line your pockets with money." London's website for the exhibition features the photograph, but has since removed a caption linking it to Rose, according to TMZ.com. There have been no changes in plans to open the show on Saturday (September 29th).
