Biography

Catfish and The Bottlemen (Formed 2010) Catfish and The Bottlemen is a Welsh Indie Rock band consisting of the members, Van McCann, Johnny 'Bondy' Bond, Benji Blakeway, Bob Hall, Bill Bibby. They are better known for their singles, "Kathleen" and "Cocoon".

Formation: Lead singer Van McCann was born via an IVF treatment in Australia, and moved to Wales as a child. He started a band with the eldest brother of his best friend, Bill bibby, and Benji Blakeway, in 2010. They rehearsed by playing covers of the Beatles, and performing in the car parks of gigs, such as Kasabian.

Music Career: Communion records signed the band in 2013. Their first three singles, "Pacifier", "Rango", and "Homesick" were released in 2013. The band went on to sign with Island Records in 2014. They released their single "Kathleen" soon after. Zane Lowe aired all of their singles as his choice for "hottest record in the world". MTV ranked "Kathleen" at number one on their hottest tracks in April 2014. Reading and Leeds, Latitude, Kendal Calling, and Ibiza Rocks, are a few of the summer festivals the band performed at in 2014. Their debut album, "The Balcony" was released in September 2014. It charted number 10 in the UK album charts, in September 2014. At the BBC Music Awards, they won the BBC introducing award.

Marina - Love + Fear
(April 26)

Marine and the Diamonds is set to drop her first album under her new mononym and it's quite the psychological exploration. It consists of two eight-track sides dealing with 'Love' and 'Fear' respectively as a nod to psychologist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross' theory that these are the two dominant human emotions.

Bonnaroo is in full swing and while we've seen some pretty impressive acts so far, the musical forecast shows things are not going to get quieter anytime soon. Metronomy Round Off Their Album Tour As Festival No. 6 Headliners

All headliners for Wales' Festival No. 6 have now been announced, with Metronomy now heading the bill with Grace Jones and Belle & Sebastian. Further new acts have also been added to the line-up, while many more acts are yet to be announced.

British electronic collective Metronomy head the bill with Jamaican crooner Grace Jones and Glasgow pop group Belle & Sebastian as a host of other new bands are added to the festival line-up. The fourth instalment of this uniquely cultured festival is set to hit Portmeirion from September 3rd to 6th, bringing with it some fine artists such as Catfish & The Bottlemen, Jame Bay, Stornoway and Blossoms to name but a few.

More additions have been announced for Bonnaroo 2015 as the June event draws ever closer. D'angelo & The Vanguard, Kacey Musgraves and Songhoy Blues join an already stellar line-up for this 10-stage bonanza, while the full late night sets are also announced.

Adding to a line-up headlined by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Billy Joel and London Grammy winners Mumford And Sons are soul collective D'angelo & The Vanguard, young country star Kacey Musgraves and Mali four-piece Songhoy Blues. As usual, the epic festival - which is set to play host to a massive 85,000 music lovers - presents one of the world's most diverse line-ups as it prepares to hit Manchester, Tennessee this summer from June 11th to 14th.
