The 25-year-old singer reportedly borrowed more than $13, 000 in clothes from The Stockroom, an erotic boutique in Los Angeles. Although the majority of outfits were borrowed for the occasion, the star and her team kept around $5000 worth of clothing.

Who said cutthroat corridors of U.S television was a man's world? Sofia Vergara has proved that the era of the disgustingly high-paid leading man (Laurie, Sheen) may well be over, by not only topping the highest paid TV actress list for a tired consecutive , but taking the top-spot overall.

The actress earned $37 million last year, that's some $11 million more than the top-earning TV actor Ashton Kutcher. The Colombian-born star earns a reported $325,000 per episode for 'Modern Family' - way off the reported $1 million per episode deal that Kaley Cuoco signed on 'The Big Bang Theory' - but Vergara's earnings come from endorsements and licensing deals with Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl, Head & Shoulders, AT&T and Synthroid. As Forbes note, the actress is also the co-founder of Latin World Entertainment - a huge multi-million dollar episode.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has been declared the highest actress on television for the third year running.

No surprises for guessing this one! Columbian actress Sofia Vergara has been the top earning actress on television for the third year in a row. The star who plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on 'Modern Family' topped the Forbes list with $37 million from June 2013 to June 2014, with much of the revenue coming from endorsements and licensing contracts.

Vergara has appeared on the ABC sitcom since 2010, and has been nominated for five Golden Globes and four Primetime Emmys, but is yet to receieve an award. As well as her television role, she has also appeared in films including Machete Kills and New Year's Eve. In addition to acting, she is also a co-founder of Hispanic talent and entertainment agency Latin World Entertainment.

Last night's 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' episode was pretty unmissable.

Last night's episode of Law & Order: SVU was big news for the NBC drama: not only was Alec Baldwin welcomed as a larger than life reporter, but Mariska Hargitay, AKA Sgt. Olivia Benson, made her directorial debut. "Honored & humbled to have my name added to a long list of #SVU directors who have taught & inspired me over the years #grateful" tweeted Hargitay, who was greeted by praise and admiration.

Nowadays the show, which is chugging through its fifteenth season, rarely makes the headlines unless one of its plotlines closely echoes a very big real life case. Last night's episode was the exception though, generating two Twitter hashtags: "#MariskaDirects" and "#BaldwinOnSVU." Baldwin's arrival was especially big new because the former MSNBC host, who had his show dropped, announced in February that he was leaving the public eye.

Last night's episode saw him as a less-than-pleasant journalist on the show.

Then Alec Baldwin said he was retiring from the biz in that affected, woe-is-me letter recently, he obviously didn’t mean it literally. The actor returned this week in a minor role on Law & Order SVU, doing what he does best – being a jerk. Playing. Playing a jerk that is. Baldwin joined the SVU team (or rather, got in their way) as an over-eager, overly intrusive New York Ledger columnist who publishes inflammatory articles about a rape case being investigated by the SVU team.

Alec Baldwin seemed to declare a hiatus from the biz recently, but he's back with a vengeance.

The episode kicks off with Jimmy MacArthur (Baldwin) shadowing Sgt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) for a profile. In the process, he manages to alienate a rape victim by questioning her story (it turns out that her rape was not motivated by her religion as the victim claimed) and publish a story, declaring the whole thing a “hoax”. Classy move, that one.
