Childhood: Tyga was born in Compton, California, before moving at the age of eleven to Gardena, California. His upbringing was later thrown into debate, as Tyga had appeared in a 2008 television show, explaining how he came from a successful family, in contrast to the poor family he told his fans.
Career: Tyga released his first mixtape, 'Young On Probation', in 2007, which led to him signing to Young Money Entertainment. On 10th June 2008, Tyga released his first independent album, 'No Introduction'.
