Hot off of her win at WrestleMania against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, in which she teamed up with Kurt Angle, Rousey put on a brilliant performance, as expected when facing off against Jax. Clearly at a disadvantage when it came to her size, she would use that to her advantage, showing her speed inside the squared circle.

This year, World Wrestling Entertainment will be taking its biggest pay-per-view event, WrestleMania 34, to New Orleans, and there are already some big matches scheduled to take place on the night's match card. Another one was added during last night's episode of 'Monday Night Raw', when Ronda Rousey decided it was time to name her opponent for her first ever wrestling match under the company.

Hitting the ring for a promo alongside the Raw General Manager Kurt Angle, Rousey invited WWE CBO Stephanie McMahon to join her in the ring, before being joined by fellow Authority figure and husband Triple H. It was there that Stephanie and Ronda seemed to put their differences behind them, but when Stephanie asked for the name of the person the former UFC fighter would like to take on at WrestleMania, she came back with an unexpected response.

Before she could announce who she'd like to fight against however, Joan Jett's track 'Bad Reputation' hit the speakers, and Rousey walked out wearing the late Rowdy Roddy Piper's jacket, and a shirt with her name on it, in the iconic Roddy Piper font.

Ronda Rousey To Star In Re-Make Of '80s Classic Movie 'Road House'

Ronda Rousey Patrick Swayze

Who out there remembers the ‘80s cult classic movie Road House? Well, it’s just become the latest cultural artefact to get a modern makeover at the cinema, but this time it’s with a twist – UFC bantamweight champion fighter Ronda Rousey has been cast in the lead role, as Patrick Swayze’s character from the original.

That’s right – that stereotypical depiction of ‘80s masculinity is getting a female re-boot, according to the initial report by Variety. The 1989 original saw Swayze’s James Dalton being hired to restore order to a boisterous roadside dive bar in Missouri, a role we can see Rousey’s no-holds-barred approach being totally suitable for.

Chakrams At The Ready! Who Should Play Xena In The Rumoured TV Re-Boot?

Lucy Lawless Gina Carano Charlize Theron Zooey Deschanel Ronda Rousey Ruby Rose Gemma Arterton Zoe Saldana Laverne Cox

So, rumours are circulating that a modern reboot of the 90s cult show 'Xena: Warrior Princess' is set to hit screens in the near future. It would be great to see Lucy Lawless back in that badass leather corset but, chances are, if it does ever return, it's likely to have a new wearer. But who should it be?

Lucy Lawless

In a world where feminism has become re-invigorated and strong female role models are being taken seriously in movies and on the small screen, it seems only right that 'Xena: Warrior Princess' be brought back as part of this phenomenon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, original executive producers Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi are involved in her resurrection (literally) with the series suggested to arrive in 2016 and take on a kind of Katniss Everdeen in 'The Hunger Games' angle. Original star Lucy Lawless is keen to crush our dreams, though, telling Twitter, 'Sorry, friends! news of a #Xena reboot is just a rumor. I'd love it to happen one day but it's still in the wishful thinking stage', but it still got us thinking about who we'd like to see in the role if it ever did come back.

Entourage Review

Very Good

Both shameless and shamelessly entertaining, this relentlessly boyish movie carries on exactly as the TV show left off after its eight-season run. In fact, it actually feels like a ninth season was condensed into 104 minutes, as it carries on with the same misogynistic approach, leering at women while laughing at the inappropriate behaviour of men. But these guys still have their charm, and when they get together the screen lights up with snappy banter and a hilariously knowing depiction of how crazy life is within the movie industry.

It's been four years since we last saw them, and Vince (Adrien Grenier) is just out of a disastrous marriage, yearning to direct his next movie, a raving sci-fi take on Jeckyll and Hyde. As luck would have it, his loyal ex-agent Ari (Jeremy Piven) is now a studio boss, so he lets him make the movie with his best pal Eric (Kevin Connolly) as producer, his older brother Johnny (Kevin Dillon) in a key supporting role and his pal Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) as their driver. But the Texan moneybags (Billy Bob Thornton) is dubious about all of this, and sends his know-it-all son Travis (Haley Joel Osment) to keep an eye on post-production. And Travis has some ideas of his own, much to everyone's horror.

While the rather bland Grenier holds the centre as Vince, the rest of the characters are given subplots to run with. Ari is in marriage counselling because he can't tear himself from his work; Eric goes through a few more women while preparing for his ex-girlfriend to give birth to their child; Johnny hopes this small role might finally kickstart his career; Turtle pursues a relationship with MMA champion-turned actress Ronda Rousey; and Travis is jealous of how much time Vince is spending with model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski. None of these plots have anywhere to go, but they pass the time amiably.

The world of acting is no longer enough for superstar Vincent Chase, whose now looking at a career in directing. With his lifestyle having taken a significant overhaul following several years of hedonism (though it might not seem like it), Ari Gold is still acting as his agent despite his new job as CEO of Time Warner and is willing to give his client a shot at what he wants to do - even if no-one else seems to think he can pull off directing. He lands a $100 million budget but things get complicated when he goes over by $15 million. Vince isn't overly concerned with the film becoming a flop, but it could mean the end of Ari's career before its started if it doesn't come through.
