Alec Baldwin stars as the infant executive in his new movie 'The Boss Baby'.
Alec Baldwin goes from playing the boss of the country on 'SNL' to playing the boss of a family with his latest film 'The Boss Baby'. He opens up about what it was like to play such an unusual character who is, by his own admission, anyone's 'worst nightmare'.
Alec Baldwin opens up about working on 'The Boss Baby'
Imagine if your baby brother turned out to be a suit-wearing, briefcase-carrying company executive. It's likely to be the worst thing that's ever happened to you. At least, that's the case with Tim Templeton when he meets his new sibling in this animated comedy.

Baldwin's impersonations of the president-elect were a hit on 'SNL' throughout the presidential election campaign.
Following a string of memorable appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in the last few months, Alec Baldwin has suggested that he’ll continue to do his impersonation of president-elect Donald Trump as much as his busy schedule will allow.
The 58 year old actor is set to be the host of a new 10-episode series of revived game show ‘Match Game’ in 2017, but he told ABC News over the weekend that despite the significant time commitment he’ll try to help out on ‘SNL’ with his Trump character as often as possible – and that he might bring it to some other platforms!
“I'm gonna do [my impression] as much as I can,” Baldwin said, “and there's discussions about other venues we might pursue to further express our gratitude and admiration for the Trump administration.”

What happens when a baby takes the top position? Seven-year-old Tim Templeton was doing just fine until his parents brought home his new baby brother, who seemed determined to attract as much attention as possible and steer their parents' sights away from poor Tim. Sibling rivalry is a natural thing, but Tim is exasperated by his mom and dad's blindness towards the baby, who happens to be constantly dressed in a business suit and carries a mini briefcase. It seemed inevitable that the baby would grow up to be a boss someday, though everyone expected him to actually grow up first. One day, Tim discovers that the baby can talk, though it's less 'goo goo ga ga' and more 'let's strike a deal'. As much as this news rocks Tim's world, he must team up with his bossy little brother when they discover that the CEO of Puppy Co., Francis E. Francis, wants to take over the world.

'Match Game', a family favourite for two decades throughout the sixties and seventies, is making a 2016 comeback on ABC with Alec Baldwin as host.
Alec Baldwin is set to host a revival of the classic panel game show ‘Match Game’ when it returns to primetime TV this summer.
‘Match Game’ made its first ever appearance on TV way back in 1962, hosted by Gene Rayburn, and ran for a whopping 20 years on NBC. It was revived briefly for one season in both 1990 with Ross Shafter as host and then in 1998 with Michael Burger fronting it.

Just over a year after being involved in a fatal car accident, the comedian made his return to ‘SNL’ joined by some of his ’30 Rock’ co-stars.

The comedian showed he is well and truly back as he hosted the long-running sketch show, with a little help from his ’30 Rock’ pals.

The Weekend Box Office results for 31st July-2nd August are in and the latest installment of ‘Mission Impossible’ reigns supreme.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation has topped the U.S. Weekend Box Office (31st July-2nd August). The action film, which was released on 31st July, made $56 million in the U.S. and Canada. The film has made over $40 million more than the other newcomer in the office, Vacation, which comes in at number 2 in the Box Office chart.
Writer-director Christopher McQuarrie brings a dark and gritty tone to this larger-than-life franchise. Along with a constant stream of barbed humour, the film has an enjoyably knotted mystery plot and action set-pieces that feel like they're grounded in the real world. It's a terrific shift into earthy believability for a series of movies that has previously indulged in gleefully incoherent narratives and exaggerated explosive chaos.
Right from the start, our hero Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is an outsider. As he searches for a shady assassin (Sean Harris) and his mythical organisation The Syndicate, Ethan's Impossible Mission Force is being dissolved by the US government. CIA Director Hunley (Alec Baldwin) absorbs the IMF team, but tech genius Benji (Simon Pegg) secretly helps Ethan, enlisting Luther (Ving Rhames) and William (Jeremy Renner) as well. Soon, all three are gallivanting from Vienna to Morocco and back to London, as Ethan works with double or perhaps triple agent Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson) to prove that The Syndicate exists and stop its nefarious plan.
The film plays out like an edgy James Bond adventure, as Ethan works with a possibly dangerous woman in exotic locations in pursuit of some very shadowy baddies. McQuarrie's script is unusually lucid for this genre, piecing together the various elements expertly, building a genuine sense of tension without ever letting things tip over into overblown silliness. The chase sequences are remarkably rough and unpredictable, avoiding digital trickery to create moments that are jaw-droppingly authentic. As usual, we can tell that Cruise does his own stunts; the opening hanging-from-an-airplane scene is awesome, and a helmet-free motorbike chase looks even more perilous. With the IMF disbanded, it's never quite clear how Ethan funds his one-man operation, but he has a terrific supply of cool gadgets stashed all over Europe.

The ’30 Rock’ star is already father to daughters Carmen Baldwin and Ireland Baldwin.
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are celebrating the birth of their first son, named Rafael Thomas Baldwin. The couple, who are parents to 22 month old daughter Carmen, announced they were expecting their second child in January, as well as revealing the baby’s sex.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have welcomed their first son.
Little Rafael’s birth was announced on Instagram by Hilaria on Wednesday morning, when she shared a pic of the newborn's hand holding hers. "We are happy to announce the birth of Rafael Thomas Baldwin,” Hilaria captioned the pic. The same image was shared by Alec on his Twitter account soon after.
The IMF (Impossible Mission Force) have been active for years, but it's time has run out. The head of the CIA (Alec Baldwin) informs them that they are to be disbanded, but some people can't actually adjust to that sort of thing. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) can't let go, and soon discovers that the IMF is actually needed more than ever. The Syndicate - a Rouge Nation - has been steadily growing over the years, and is seen as an anti-IMF. Now, Hunt and his team must engage in their most impossible mission to date, and fight an enemy which, officially, does not exist.
David Letterman's 'Late Show' set has been dismantled mere hours after the final episode aired.
David Letterman's Late Show set has already been thrown in the trash. The talk show host's last show was on Wednesday night (20th May) but within 24 hours the set had been dismantled and parts of it could be seen in a dumpster close to the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York.
David Letterman's Late Show set was quickly dismantled after the final episode aired.
'30 Rock' star Alec Baldwin arrives with his heavily pregnant wife Hilaria Baldwin and their young daughter Carmen at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York for the last ever episode of 'The Late Show With David Letterman'. Alec appears to be clutching a gold-wrapped gift - presumably for David Letterman - which he puts aside as he poses with his family. The Baldwins appear to be on good terms with the photographers, as Hilaria shakes one of their hands and Alec asks them if someone he knows is about. He is later seen taking photos of the paparazzi with his phone.
The 19 year old checked herself into rehab on Monday, saying she’s suffering deep “emotional trauma.”
Ireland Baldwin reportedly split from her girlfriend, rapper Angel Haze, before checking herself into a Malibu rehab center on Monday. The 19 year old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger revealed she had entered rehab on Twitter, saying that she needed time away to deal with some ‘emotional trauma’.
Ireland checked herself into rehab earlier this week.
However a source told the New York Post’s Page Six that the split form Haze was not the reason Ireland checked herself into Malibu’s Soba Recovery Center, saying it was instead “due to a variety of pressures in her life.”

Despite their countless missions, most of which deemed impossible, the IMF is closing down. Considered an irrelevant and archaic group, the government intends to tie off any loose ends - especially Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). The problem is, Hunt is a veteran, and a tremendous agent of the IMF, and has uncovered a terrifying secret rouge nation, known as The Syndicate. Hunt plans to track down, expose and destroy The Syndicate through any means necessary. To that end, he recruits his old friends and colleges from the IMF, and plans to take the fight to them. The 56-year-old actor recently revealed on his podcast 'Here's The Thing' that he was offered to host the NBC morning show over twenty years ago.
In 1994 Although Alec Baldwin had a relatively unsuccessful go at hosting his own talk show, 'Up Late With Alec Baldwin', which was cancelled after five episodes from October until November 2014, the 56-year-old actor nearly became a host a lot sooner than people realize.
Baldwin was apparently offered a hosting job at 'GMA' in 1994
During a conversation on his podcast 'Here's The Thing,' Baldwin revealed to ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos that he was offered a job as co-host of the network's morning show 'Good Morning America' back in 1994.
People across the world got together with friends on 22nd February to watch the Academy Awards - and for Sir Elton John, those friends happened to be some of the biggest names in entertainment!
Since 1992, EJAF (Elton John AIDS Foundation) has raised over 321 million USD to help combat AIDS/HIV. One of the biggest events on EJAF's calendar is that of the Academy Awards Ceremony - for the last 23 years, Sir Elton John has hosted a special Academy Awards viewing party, in which celebrities from all areas of the entertainment industry come together to watch the Oscars, whilst raising money for the foundation. This year was no exception.

Of course, as with any Oscar party, members of the Hollywood elite were in attendance, like Alec and Hilaria Baldwin. But also, tremendous musical talent flocked to West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. In addition to Sir Elton John, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were there to pose for pictures, as were Miley Cyrus, LIL' KIM and Kylie Minogue. Moby and Beck also stopped by to help raise awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Things have been tough for Brian (Bradley Cooper). Having been fired from the US Air Force for his cockiness, he lost his girlfriend Tracy (Rachel McAdams) by a chain of events he doesn't fully understand himself. But when he is recalled back into service by a boss that has a soft spot for him, Brian discovers that his life has to get an awful lot more complicated before it can get simpler. Tasked with overseeing the launch of a weapons satellite from Hawaii, Brian is put in charge of training Allison (Emma Stone) to be both a good pilot, and a valuable member of the air force. But as he begins to reconnect with Tracy, Allison begins to fall for him, leading to Brian having to truly figure out once and for all, just what it is that he wants.

For a film about early onset Alzheimer's, this is a remarkably wry, honest and even hopeful drama, anchored by another staggeringly sensitive performance by Julianne Moore. Writing-directing team Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland are known for their observant depictions of human interaction (see Quinceañera), and they fill the screen with sharp dialogue and earthy emotions that make this much more than another movie about a disease. Instead, it's about how people can transcend what life throws at them, even if it knocks them down.
Moore stars as Alice, a New York linguistics professor who has just turned 50 when she starts noticing that she's forgetting words and getting lost. Her doctor gives her the tough diagnosis, and she uses her dry wit and sharp intellect to face the future with her steady husband John (Alec Baldwin) and their three grown children: married and pregnant Anna (Kate Bosworth), aspiring actress Lydia (Kristen Stewart) and free-spirit Tom (Hunter Parrish). The hardest thing to learn is that the disease is familial, and that she has passed it to at least one of her children. So while she can, Alice makes a contingency plan for the future as she watches her family members each react in a different way.
No, this isn't a light and breezy movie. But the filmmakers balance the moments of gut-wrenching emotion with smart humour ("Sorry, I forgot - I have Alzheimer's!") and bracing honesty ("I wish I had cancer!"). Moore is uncannily raw in the role, subtly revealing Alice's transformation in ways we barely notice until we're reminded what she used to be like. Even more powerful is her own awareness of what's happening. Opposite her, Baldwin has terrific camaraderie and an unexpected warmth, while both Bosworth and Stewart get a chance to dig much deeper as actors than they usually do. And what makes the film special is the way Alice's interaction with each character is uniquely individualistic.
