The star used Instagram's video service to to debut 11 new tracks from his upcoming follow-up to 'The 20/20 Experience'
In case you forgot, Justin Timberlake is back! And never one to do things lightly, the singer has unveiled the tracklist for his follow-up to this year's The 20/20 Experience, which he has imaginatively titled The 20/20 Experience - 2 Of 2, in a typically cool fashion. The singer/actor/everyman took to his Instagram page to reveal the 11 new tracks, but rather than send them all out at once, Timberlake preferred to bide his time and release each track name over the course of a few hours.
Justin will release his second album of the year at the end of September
Beginning on Wednesday (14 August) afternoon, eventually finishing his grand unveiling by the end of the night, the singer uploaded 11 different videos to his Instagram account, each one revealing a new song name. Writing down each track title in a blank notebook, by the end of the day we had the full tracklisting in all it's glory. Judging by some of the song names, like 'Murder,' 'True Blood' and 'Drink You Away,' it seems as though the album might very well be a much darker side to Timberlake than his March release was, not that we're complaining about anything. All JT is good JT after all.

Gaga gears up to bring 'Artpop' to London during next month's iTunes Festival.
Lady GaGa has left the irritation of Monday's 'Applause' new single leakage behind her and has turned her attention to September, tweeting her excitement for next month's iTunes Festival. The singer announced that she's be gracing Camden's Roundhouse on the 1st September - the first night of the month of free concerts - with the Tweet: "I'M HEADLINING ITUNES FESTIVAL ON SEPT 1 AT ROUNDHOUSE IN LONDON. ONE HOUR OF ALL NEW MUSIC. #UKMonstersGetReady" to make sure all her UK fans knew what awaited them.
Lady Gaga's New Look.
The NY singer called a "911 pop emergency" on Monday after a snippet from the lead single from her upcoming album, Artpop, leaked on the internet. "Little Monsters" rushed to their idol's aide by reporting illegal uploads to record company UMG but the hot new track spread like wildfire across the internet. Gaga made the radical decision to change the single's release date to the 12th Aug, dropping the new track immediately on American radio stations to combat the pirates.

Miley Cyrus has finally conquered the UK singles chart.
Miley Cyrus has scored her first UK number one single with 'We Can't Stop,' which incidentally is her first Top 10 hit in the country.
The 20-year-old sold 128,000 copies of her new single last week to reach the top spot, ousting Swedish DJ Avicii and his hit track 'Wake Me Up'.
Miley had previously peaked in the UK singles chart at number three with See You Again in 2008 and at 11 in 2009 with The Climb and Party in the USA.

Beyonce's 50 million Pepsi deal is unprecedented in the celebrity world.
Beyonce's £50 million Pepsi deal opened up a wider debate on celebrities, advertising and promotion last year, with Mrs Carter seemingly having no qualms selling sugary carbonated drinks despite helping Michelle Obama's Let's Move fitness campaign.
For years, Pepsi and Coca-Cola have been criticized for targeting children, with many arguing that when consumed to excess the drinks have negative effects on long-term health. However, in a recent interview with Flaunt, Beyonce rejected the idea of hypocrisy, saying, "Pepsi is a brand I've grown up seeing my heroes collaborate with. The company respects musicians and artistry. I wouldn't encourage any person, especially a child, to live life without balance."
The singer - the biggest R&B star in the world - has been heavily criticized for lending her name to the brand.

Despite dispute from a rape charity, singer Justin Timberlake dances like Michael Jackson in a newly released music video for his latest single, 'Take Back The Night.'
Justin Timberlake's 'Take Back The Night' video has dropped onto our radar, showing the performer dancing his way through the streets of New York City at night in the lead single from upcoming album The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2.
Justin Timberlake Was Unaware He had Chosen The Same Name As A Rape Charity.
The release of the music video comes not long after anti-sexual violence charity Take Back The Night accused him of stealing their name - and therefore affecting their brand - without their permission.
The 'Suit & Tie' singer is back, and he's got a brand new video too (which you can watch below).
Following various sneak peaks at his latest video, on Tuesday (July 30) morning Justin Timberlake finally unveiled the brand new music video for the track 'Take Back The Night.' Shot in various occasions throughout New York City, including Times Square, a downtown club, his live show at the Yankee Stadium, popping shapes with some local kids and of course, with it being NYC, hanging out at countless bodegas.
Justin is looking forward to bringing out his next album
'Take Back The Night' was released on July 12 as the first single from Justin's upcoming album; The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2, his second of the year and the follow-up to The 20/20 Experience, which was released in March. His fourth album to date, The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2, is set to hit stores this September, with critics predicting that the album will perform as well as his well-received and high-selling third album.
Robin Thicke could feature prominently on both the albums and singles charts by next week.
The sixth album from R&B singer Robin Thicke hits shelves today, though...it's kind of irrelevant, given all anyone cares about is the single, Blurred Lines, and its unrated video.
Could it possibly provide fans with anything more than the pop-tastic Billboard No.1 hit that will comfortably become the biggest selling single of the year?
Well, it turns out the album is pretty good, too.

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake brought 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' to Chicago on Monday (22nd July).
R&B star Justin Timberlake and rapper Jay Z took their Magna Carta Holy Grail joint show to a sold out concert to the Chicago's Soldier Fields stop on their world tour. Their gig was certainly a spectacle of music, light and performance but The Chicago Tribute notes an intriguing moment during their joint headline concert when Timberlake apologised to the crowd after he launched into his own rendition of Sinatra's 'New York, New York' to a chorus of boos from the Chi-town crowd. "You know I love you, Chicago, right?" asked JT after he sensed unrest from within the audience. However, festooned with gold bling, rapper Jay Z strode up for an unapologetic performance of 'Empire State of Mind'; a serenade to his beloved home city, commanding the 50,000 fans to join in with the pre-recorded Alicia Keys performance.
Jay Z Weighed Down By Heavy Chains.
The Journal Sentinel remarks that the duo "fell short of delivering the No. 1 concert experience of the year," with "minimal banter" and interaction other than singing between the performers that "came off more as obligation than admiration." However, theirs was reportedly a highly slick collaboration that blended the distinct musical talents of the pair well, such as Jay Z's 'I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)' weaving in and out with Timberlake's 'Rock Your Body' and, of course, the MCHG track 'Suit & Tie' in which JT sings whilst Jay Z raps.

Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake kicked off their Legends of the Summer tour.
Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z kicked off their joint 'Legends of the Summer' tour at Toronto's 45,000 seater Rogers Center on Wednesday (July 17, 2013). Backed by a 15-piece jazz band, the performers treated the sell-out crowd to hits from both back catalogues with each lending the other a helping hand.
Fresh from news that his twelfth studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail had topped the US Billboard Top 200, Jay-Z kicked things off with new tracks 'Holy Grail,' and 'Tom Ford,' as well as classic '99 Problems.'
Afterwards, Timberlake performed 'Let The Groove Get In' from his latest record 'The 20/20 Experience,' as well as oldies 'Rock Your Body' and 'Cry Me A River.' JT also performed 'Take Back The Night,' which serves as the lead single from the second volume of his latest album, due for release on September 30, 2013.
The MTV Video Music Awards have been announced, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake sharing six nods.
The nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 have been announced, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Justin Timberlake leading the field. Armed with their videos for 'Can't Hold Us' and 'Thrift Shop,' the hip-hop duo will square off against JT at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on August 25, 2013.
Both acts received six nominations, with Timberlake getting nods for his 'Suit and Tie' and 'Mirrors' promos. Elsewhere, Bruno Mars appears to have every chance of taking home the prize of 'Video of the Year' with 'Locked out of Heaven,' though Robin Thicke's controversial clip for 'Blurred Lines' and Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' will also be popular.
The VMAs - one of the biggest events on the pop music calendar - represents the first time a major awards show has been held in Brooklyn. The place has been a mecca for art and culture for years, though the Barclays Center appears to have truly put it on the map.

Jay-Z visited Salisbury Cathedral to see the namesake of his latest album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'.
Jay-Z made an unscheduled appearance to Salisbury cathedral to see the Magna Carta, the 13th century English rights document, which is the namesake of his album: Magna Carta Holy Grail. He visited the cathedral shortly after the Sunday (14th July) service finished.
Jay-Z at The Great Gatsby premiere, New York.
One wouldn't imagine Jay-Z, a.k.a. Shawn Carter, would be such a tourist and he doesn't seem the type to spend his time wandering around English churches. He's proved everyone wrong though by visiting Salisbury Cathedral in order to see the Magna Carta.
Jay-Z scored his first UK No.1 with Magna Carta Holy Grail.
Incredibly, Jay-Z has landed his first ever UK number one album, with Magna Carta Holy Grail storming the chart and holding off Mumford & Sons and Rod Stewart. The rapper's previous highest-charting album was the 2011 collaborate effort with Kanye West, Watch the Throne, which entered at No.3.
Holy Grail managed to hold off Mumford & Sons' Babel despite a surge in sales following the group's triumphant headlining show at the Glastonbury Festival. Jay-Z also comfortably outsold Rod Stewart's number-one album Time. Passenger took the third spot with All The Little Light, with Canadian crooner Michael Buble dropped two places to No.4 with To Be Loved.
Jay-Z has been performing in the UK this weekend, headlining the second night of the Wireless music festival at the Queen Elizabeth Park on the former Olympics site. "I feel the love tonight," Jay-Z, 43, told the crowd, "You've been an incredible audience tonight." The rapper - still one of the biggest hip-hop acts in the world - was joined by Timberlake during the encore for a rendition of Holy Grail.

Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake brought rap and R&B to the adoration of thousands over three days at London's Wireless Festival until the unthinkable happened.
It was the glorious festival collaboration that turned sour: Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake collaborated on tracks from Jay-Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail in a three day series of surprise performances and "I was there" moments. Sunday evening's performance approached and the 40,000-strong crowd of music fans waited for the joint headline performance that would serve as the cherry on top of a one-in-a-lifetime celebration of hiphop sounds. However, in currently unknown circumstances at 9pm two men were stabbed and had to be rushed to hospital where one is reportedly currently stable, yet one is said to be "in critical condition," according to Scotland Yard via BBC News.
Jay-Z Performed A Festival Set During Which Two Men Were Stabbed.
The attack occurred at approximately 21:00 BST in the midst of the crowd, many of whom were exultant in the presence of their musical heroes yet a select few will have had their evening's experience marred by the nightmarish attack.
Justin Timberlake has been reportedly issued with a legal warning by anti-sexual violence charity Take Back The Night who say the singer used their name without permission.
Timberlake debuted new track 'Take Back The Night' at London's Wireless Festival during his Friday headline slot, to great excitement from fans but one organisation apparently is not impressed with the 'Sexyback' singer's choice of track name. Take Back The Night, an anti-rape charity, are "shocked" to learn that Timberlake chose the name of their organisation for his new song which features overtly sexual lyrics. "Tonight the night, come on surrender/ I won't lead your love astray, astray, yeah/ Your love's a weapon/ Give your body some direction/ That's my aim," sings Timberlake who clearly graduated from the same school of persuasive courtship as 'Blurred Lines' singer Robin Thicke.
Justin Timberlake Is In A Spot Of Trouble With A Charity Whose Name He Used Without Permission.
Essentially, it's a typical Timberlake track, laced with whistles and a horn section and those distinctive falsetto vocals, i.e. it's bound to be a mega hit. So it's no wonder really that JT's ruffled a few feathers over the identity of the titling phrase; the charity are perturbed to say the least, with Take Back the Night Foundation Executive Director Katherine Koestner explaining to Radar Online: "We have some big concerns. For example, all of a sudden on Wikipedia, Take Back the Night has a different definition. That's not been helpful." Turning scrutiny towards the song's sexually-themed lyrics, Koestner adds "The lyrics are definitely very sexual and not at all clearly anti-sexual violence. 'Use me,' for example, is not a great phrase for anyone affiliated with the organization."

Rapper Jay-Z and R&B artists Justin Timberlake performed tracks from Jay-Z's new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' live for the first time at London's Wireless Festival.
Overshadowing all over artists at this weekend's Wireless Festival 2013, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have dominated the main stage, with guest appearances during each other's headline slots across the weekend. During Timberlake's Friday night headline slot of the Olympic Park-based festival, not only did he debut new single 'Take Back The Night' but also introduced NY rapper Jay-Z for a performance of 'Suit & Tie', Yahoo! Music reports.
"Atchoo!" Jay-Z Performs At Wireless Festival.
As if that wasn't enough for the hyped crowd to content with, the following night they were treated to another Jay-Z/JT epic double act as Jay-Z welcomed Timberlake on stage during his Saturday night headline show. Fans present leapt in the air as two of the biggest names in R&B and rap entertained, bringing their latest studio collaboration 'Holy Grail' from Jay-Z new record Magna Carta Holy Grail. Amongst choice tracks from his new album, Jay-Z also performed hits including '99 Problems', 'Empire State of Mind' and 'Jigga What Jigga Who' to an adoring crowd of 40,000.
Is it a comeback, if he never left in the first place?
Oh boy, oh boy, Justin Timberlake is making new music again. Well, not really, but he’ll be releasing some anyway. The singer’s Take Back The Night single, which dropped earlier this week, isn’t just a callback to Thriller era Michael Jackson – though it certainly is that too – it is also a teaser for more upcoming music from Timberlake. And really, what could be better than that – aside from universal peace and harmony and chocolate cake of course.
No rest for the wicked, or in this case, the phenomenally successful.
The album will be a sequel to The 20/20 Experience, quite creatively titled The 20/20 Experience Part 2. It makes perfect sense for Timberlake to go in that direction, of course, and right on the heels of his March release. After all, the original 20/20 was the first (and so far only) release this year to pass the 2 million sales mark and Take Back The Night is quickly gaining similar fan approval.

The rapper upped his cool rating even further by unveiling the artwork for his new album next to the real Magna Carta, as well as showing off a new song
Jay-Z will release his next album, Magna Carta, Holy Grail, next week, having already made the release available for Samsung smartphone users on Thursday (July 4) as part of a marketing ploy. Before then we got to hear a new track, one featuring his 'Suit & Tie' collaborator Justin Timberlake no less, and see the artwork for it too, with the artwork being unveiled in true Jay-Z style.
As expected, the album leaked before the official release date
At Salisbury Cathedral in the UK, Jay's new album was placed alongside one of the original copies of the actual Magna Carta - the history-changing British legislation that regulated the amount of power any future king has - in a photo-op that gave people their first look at the cover. This wasn't just a one-time, Instagram-worthy photo occasion, as Salisbury Cathedral will also hold a month-long installation featuring artwork from the new album. David Dimbleby hasn't been reached for comment.
Justin Timberlake's naked-lady-heavy music video for the track 'Tunnel Vision' has been removed from YouTube
Singer/actor/everyman Justin Timberlake is experiencing what could very well be his first-ever backlash after his explicit video for the track 'Tunnel Vision' caused a stir when it was uploaded to YouTube earlier this week. A few people weren't too bothered by the nude-lady-heavy video, after all it did come with a warning, but YouTube have been forced to step in and take the video down from their site. Don't worry though, you can still see the video online (and on this site too - you can see it below).
Justin has to follow YouTube guidelines just like everyone else
The Google-owned video hosting site were forced to take the nudity-heavy video down from their site as it came into conflict with YouTube guidelines, which specifically states that any video with a gratuitous nature and heavy nudity will be taken down from the site. So even JT isn't above YouTube law, but as we all know the internet spreads much further than YouTube and the video is still very accessible.
Justin Timberlake's video for 'Tunnel Vision' has violated YouTube's nudity policy.
Justin Timberlake's 'Tunnel Vision' video - the unrated version - has been banned by YouTube for violating the website's nudity and sexual content policy.
The pop star released a promo for his new song earlier this week, which featured various nude women standing behind him as he performed - not unlike Robin Thicke's Blurred lines unrated video.
According to MTV, the video also featured a projection screen which played over the bodies of the women. Timberlake - who's returning album The 20/20 Experience was a monumental success - had warned fans on Twitter that the music video was a little bit raunchy and YouTube duly removed it from the site. He said, "Check out the new video for Tunnel Vision and be ready...it's explicit."
His new album will be heard by millions today.
Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail has come a long way in a short time – for the public anyway, as one minute it was announced, the next it’s hitting 1 million Samsung users today (Wednesday, June 2nd).
Jay Z sits next to a tired man at the Lakers
The partnership between the self-appointed CEO of hip-hop and the electronic giants Samsung represents the biggest, and possibly the most innovative marketing ploy for an album. They spent $5 million purchasing one million copies of Magna Carta Holy Grail, so Samsung Galaxy users could listen to it a day before release. And Weiner, CEO of the ad agency WDCW, reckons Samsung laid out another $15m for the campaign as a whole.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are apparently ready to start a family, according to a report in America's Star magazine
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel could be parents soon, as rumours have emerged that the 'Suit & Tie' singer and his actress wife are getting ready to start a family. A report from the upcoming edition of Star magazine stated that the couple, who married back in October 2012, are ready to take the next step in their relationship and start up a family.
The two have been together for a few years now
The US-based magazine said that Jess had been a little apprehensive about getting pregnant because of the damage it will do to her body, but thinks now that she would be ready to get pregnant and have a child. The article said, ”Now that they’re married and Justin has made it clear he is devoted to Jess, there is no reason not to start a family. However, she knows her body will take a hit. A lot of her roles are based on sex appeal so she is definitely nervous but she wants this. She’s 100 per cent focused on making it happen.”
The track 'Holy Grail' will be released on Tuesday 25 June, just under a week before the album comes out
As we all know, Jay-Z‘s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, will be arriving in the very near future and so far we've heard a few details about the album, but on the whole we're still waiting on something, anything, that can indicate where the album will go musically. The tracklist didn't change this, but things will change on Tuesday (June 25) when Jay releases the album's first single, 'Holy Grail,' and in the meantime Hova has been kind enough to leak some information surrounding the track.
As we've already heard from Courtney Love, one of the tracks on the album will feature lyrics from the Nirvana track 'Smells Like Teen Spirit,' however what she didn't tell us was what the track might sound like or what it would be called, but with a day to spare we've now know which lyric was used and where it will be, not to mention who will be appearing on the track too. Fresh off the success of working together on 'Suit & Tie,' Justin Timberlake - who is singing the Nirvana line - will show up to sing the hook and do some crooning as well.
Timberlake sings; "and we're all just/entertainers/and we're stupid/and contagious," on the hook, following on from Jay's line; "I know nobody to blame/Kurt Cobain/I did it to myself."
American rockers Vampire Weekend and Kings of Leon have both been added to this year's free iTunes Festival, which will be held at London's Roundhouse venue throughout September.
It won't be solely a festival of rock though - artists from other genres have also been invited, giving everyone at this September's festival something to look forward to, such as Justin Timberlake, Jessie J, Jake Bugg, Rizzle Kicks, and classical composer Ludovico Einaudi.
Having being held since 2007, the annual iTunes festival is held over every night in September and this year will host over 60 acts at the Camden venue.
MTV Network's July 4th celebrations to welcome new artists at a time when it's difficult to get noticed.
As America celebrates independence of 4th July, cable entertainment channel MTV will host its own spin on the day's festivities with a planned 'Music Independence Day', which will celebrate music, giving lesser-known artists an opportunity to gain exposure, according to the Associated Press.
In a return to its musical roots, along with VH1 and CMT, MTV will turn Wednesday 4th into an all-day party with hours dedicated to various different genres.
Successful mainstream acts, like Justin Timberlake or Bruno Mars, will be honoured but emerging bands will be able to compete with each other on the online 'Artist Platform' to win a TV-airing of their music video.

'Runner, Runner' delves into the dark side of online gambling.
Justin Timberlake plays Princeton mathematics whizz kid Richie Furst in 'Runner, Runner' - the new crime thriller by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer, The Take). In the trailer that rolled out this week, we join Richie as his fun online poker playing begins to turn into a serious habit. When he struggles to pay his school fees, he tries one last game to recoup his losses.
Unfortunately or Richie, he is busted out of the game - though his usually accurate calculations told him he should win? Convinced he has been scammed, the young poker star visits the website's owner Ivan Block (Ben Affleck) on a tropical island and is offered a ton of cash for his troubles, as well as a job. Richie accepts, but when he is kidnapped by an FBI agent looking to uncover the corrupt operations behind Ivan and his company, things take a turn for the worse.
Richie Furst is a Princeton student with a unique gift for mathematics. He uses his talent to play the odds on online poker sites but what's starts out as gambling for fun, turns into much more as he struggles to pay his school fees. He has one more chance to bring up his bank balance but finds himself busted out of a game (and the last of his money) despite his calculations telling him he should win. Determined to discover the meaning behind what he thinks is a scam, he visits the website's owner Ivan Block who offers him a job with a guaranteed 7-figure salary in just a few months. Unfortunately, he finds himself conned worse than he realised when he is kidnapped by an FBI agent for his apparent 'crimes' and uncovers the corrupt and often cruel operations behind Ivan and his company. First names revealed for month-long London event
The iTunes Festival is back! Which is great news for those of you who like going to something with the word ‘festival’ in the title, but don’t actually like the realities of what a British festival is – namely, mud, dodgy tents and someone throwing what you hope is just beer over your head from a distance.
That’s right iTunes Festival takes place indoors – namely at the Roundhouse in Camden, London and boy oh boy do they have a line-up for you this year. The festival will be running every night through September – an excited Jared Leto has told Heat that 30 Seconds To Mars will be performing on the 18th – and has unveiled the first name to play this year’s event. Joining Leto and co will be Justin Timblerake, Jessie J, Jack Johnson, Jake Bugg, Phoenix, Primal Scream and Queens Of The Stone Age. It’s a pretty mixed line-up really, though there’s no doubting the star power.
It’ll be interesting to see how Biebs gets on back in Blighty given that he had a less than enjoyable time in the country earlier in the year, including being turned away from clubs and turning up on stage two hours late. Expect more of the line-up to be revealed in the next few weeks.
It's the comeback you've all been waiting for folks...
There have been plenty of music comebacks this year, from David Bowie to Justin Timberlake to Daft Punk. But we all know the one you’ve really been waiting for, don’t we? It’s Paris Hilton of course! Tragically MIA from the music industry since her 2006 debut LP Paris (which, we were shocked to re-discover, went to number six on the Billboard charts and sold around 200,000 copies in the States,) she’s confirmed that she’s back in the music making game! And has signed a record deal with, um, a hip hop label!
Showbiz411 first reported the story, Paris is apparently already recording her second album and is putting it out on the world famous rap label CashMoney! And Lil Wayne’s possibly going to be one it! So does that mean that the multi-millionaire heiress is going to be spitting some mad rhymes on her forthcoming material? Not quite, though she insists that it will be a markedly different sound from her previous record. We can’t remember what her previous sound was, so we’re just going to nod blindly in agreement with her.
“This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris Showbiz 411. “It’s really going to be house music.” Sounds great! Perhaps. Ever the business woman, Hilton also revealed she was back at work on her fragrance ranges. “I’m getting ready to launch my 17th perfume,” she said. “And I’m also starting the Paris Hilton Foundation for children’s causes.”

Despite apparent interest from the original cast, a sequel to The Big Lebowski is looking unlikely.
The Coen brothers may have emerged as the new favourites for this year's Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival after their new movie Inside Llewyn Davis received five star reviews across the board, though the filmmakers have shot down reports they are developing a sequel to their cult hit The Big Lebowski.
The 1998 comedy about Jeff Bridges' hippie bowler character 'The Dude' is amongst the Coen's most popular work and Bridges himself has spoken of being open to a sequel. "John Turturro, who wants it, talks to us incessantly about doing a sequel about his (bowler) character Jesus," Ethan Coen said at Cannes this week, "He even has the story worked out, which he's pitched to us a few times, but I can't really remember it. No, I don't see it in our future." If Ethan left the slightest possibility of a sequel, brother Joel shut down door firmly shut, "I don't think it's going to happen ... I just don't like sequels," he said.

The Coen brothers latest movie appears to have a real chance of scooping the Palme D'Or this year.
The Coen brothers eighth placement in the competition for the prestigious Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival could be their strongest chance since Barton Fink, which won the award in 1991. It's been six years since the filmmakers have been in competition at Cannes though it seems Inside Llewyn Davis could see the brothers back with a bang.
Llewyn (Oscar Isaac) At Jim and Jean's Apartment
The movie, loosely based on Dave Von Ronk's posthumously published memoir The Mayor of MacDougal Street, follows Oscar Issac as a singer-songwriter who navigates the testing New York folk music scene of the 1960s. The film, boasting an all-star casting including Isaac, Carey Mulligan (The Great Gatsby), Justin Timberlake (The Social Network), Garrett Hudlund (On The Road), Adam Driver (Girls) and John Goodman (Argo), Inside Llewyn Davis appears to have all the attributes of a possible Palme D'Or winner and the Coens appear to have spent time making it the best movie possible. It is believed the brothers could have rushed the film into last year's Oscar season though decided against it. Timberlake has contributed to the movie's soundtrack, as has Mulligan's husband Marcus Mumford and T Bone Burnett, who helped shift 8 million copies of the O Brother, Where Art Thou? score.
Watch The 'Inside Llewyn Davis' Trailer!
Llewyn Davis is a struggling folk musician attempting to find his place in the world by scouring New York's Greenwich Village at the height of folk in 1961. Along the way he meets old friends who are not particularly happy to see him because of his own unresolved mistakes in the past, and while he strives to find a venue to do what he loves doing, hitchhiking across roads in the freezing winter with a beat-up guitar and a homeless cat, he is forced to question not only himself as a person, but also where and what he really wants his future to be.
'Inside Llewyn Davis' is an emotional musical drama written and directed by Oscar winners Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, aka The Coen Brothers ('No Country for Old Men', 'True Grit', 'Fargo'). It has been very loosely based on the posthumous 2005 memoirs 'The Mayor of MacDougal Street' by the late New York folk artist Dave Van Ronk, and has been nominated to compete for the sought after Palme d'Or prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. This passionate story about love, music, finding oneself and learning from one's mistakes will hit screens in the UK on January 24th 2014.
Cher's visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week was definitely a family affair.
Cher stopped by Ellen yesterday to have for a chat about her life, her career and her son Chaz. Not before a quick outfit change for Ellen though, as it turned out she and Cher were wearing the same thing! Ok, they weren’t really, the whole thing was a gag by Ellen to tease her iconic guest’s appearance. On the day before, the talk show host tweeted a digitally altered image of Cher’s body in her infamous sequined bodysuit, but with Ellen’s head, instead of her own, The Daily Mail reports. Ah, the magic of image-altering software! The sailor hat was a nice touch as well.
The gags were set aside during Cher’s actual visit though, as she, her 86-year-old mother 86-year-old mother Georgia Holt and her 61-year-old half-sister Georganne LaPiere talked to Ellen about the coming out story of Cher’s son, Chaz Bono. Apparently Chaz didn’t go the traditional route and instead came out to his grandmother first, with Cher being the last one to find out that her son was gay.
'That's a big deal to come out to the grandmother,' DeGeneres said.

Justin is to return the favor by laying down some tunes on Juicy J's new record.
With his boy band days firmly behind him, it looks like Justin Timberlake is finally getting some street cred. Wiz Khalifa talked about Justin’s upcoming collaboration with the King Of Ratchet, Juicy J. Timberlake is just one of the collaborators to be featured on the album, but also probably the most high-profile one.
“He's got songs with Justin Timberlake,” said Wiz. "He has a song with the Weeknd… but it's like a real hood album too, you know Juicy's projects." This isn’t the first time J and J have joined forces on a project, though. Justin’s last album, Future Sex/ Love Sounds featured the song Chop Me Up, on which Timberlake worked along with Three 6 Mafia. So now JT is simply returning the favor. Wiz also revealed some other details about Juicy’s upcoming work, delving into plans for his future summer project, Stay Trippy: "He's really breaking his back to give it that old sound mixed with the new, nothing forced."
Wiz went into detail to praise Juicy’s work, but of course, the rapper is a signee of Taylor Gang – Wiz Khalifa’s own project. What are protégés for, if not to be promoted at every opportunity, after all. In any case, if you’re interested in hearing J&J’s collab, keep your eyes and ears on the interwebz – it should be dropping soon.
JT joined a whole host of artists to perform
Justin Timberlake’s renaissance can now be considered complete; he’s charmed his way through the albums charts and various chat shows, and now he’s slinking around The White House.
He was there, amongst some other musical legends, to celebrate Memphis soul music with the First Family. "Oh, watching you all's faces - priceless," Michelle Obama said, according to a White House transcript. "Priceless. See, you never know what's going to happen at the White House. Okay, let's breathe. Come on. Everyone, let's breathe, even the moms." Timberlake performed “(Sittin’ on) The Dock of the Bay” with consummate ease while Obama bobbed his presidential head along. “Tonight, I’m speaking not just as president but as one of America’s best-known Al Green impersonators,” quipped the 44th President of The United States. “I just want everybody to know that it is now my second term,” he added. “So rather than ‘Hail to the Chief,’ we’re going with that from here on out."

Albums of Note... It’s been a long two years since James Blake released his debut eponymous album and now, the pioneering producer returns with Overgrown, album number two. Peppered with quality collaborations, with hip-hop legend RZA and electronic music’s figurehead Brian Eno, Overgrown is the sound of an artist still trying to find his niche, but releasing high quality, accomplished tracks, whilst he’s on his journey. “Blake really is a talent to behold, as his ingenious moulding together of poles apart genres and production wizardry clearly shows… when you're already as accomplished at all manner of musical exercises as he is then it will obviously be hard to focus all this talent and all this energy into one place.”
Splitting opinion like musical Marmite, John Grant returns with Pale Green Ghosts. This album may sound unrecognisable as Grant, to anyone already familiar with his work. He’s hooked up with Gus Gus’ Biggi Viera and has decamped to Reykjavik. As a result, a new reliance on vintage-sounding synthesisers and a nod to club-land has John Grant sounding like an altogether different proposition to the John Grant of days gone by.“Grant's dyspeptic edge may be blunted, but when called upon the man can make a fine ass post-modern disco song, like we ever doubted that he could, and Blackbelt is a tweaked remix away from the transient world of A Lists, charts and chat shows. Cleverly poignant, its way with knock out disses would give Jake Shears something to think about if it proved to be a permanent change of direction…”
With such a good first week of sales, it looks like all Justin has to do is be his adorable self, and the records will just keep on selling.
Justin Timberlake’s big return “The 20/20 Experience” has been having one hell of an opening week, breaking records left and right.
With 968,000 moved off the shelves in the first week, the record blows the year’s previous best-seller – Mumford and Sons’ Babel – clear out of the water. 20/20 is the biggest first-week earner, ever since Taylor Swift cleaned up last October, with 1.2 million copies of her album Red sold in the first week, Rolling Stone reports.
Then again, it isn’t really a surprise that everyone wants to know what all the fuss is about – after all, we’ve been hearing about Justin Timberlake’s big comeback for so long now, it’s probably firmly embedded in everybody’s subconscious. It started with the surprise Twitter and Youtube campaign for Suit and Tie, followed by performances at the Super Bowl, the Grammy Awards, Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon, you name it. When Justin says comeback, he really does mean comeback.

Oscars 2014 will be a March affair
There will not be a single Oscar handed out in February 2014, and that’s because the ceremony will be held in March. See, the Academy bods are so worried about attention being deflected from the biggest night in Hollywood, that they’ve pandered to the biggest week in… winter sports.
The Winter Olympics will be taking place in Sochi, Russia from February 7-23, and it has become customary for the Academy to step aside while the games are on. It’s only an issue they have to deal with every four years. This way, both events get the ratings, and people don’t have to make that oh-so-difficult decision: bobsleighs or award speeches. We’re shuddering at the thought of such a dilemma. Still, if the calibre of host doesn’t improve from last year's pretty woeful Seth Macfarlane, then watching skinny athletes fall over on the show might just be a more electable option. Credit where credit’s due for the Family Guy creator, 40m people tuned in to watch it, so he did his job. So the date’s cleared up.

Returning pop king set to top charts on both sides of the Atlantic
Justin Timberlake is back on top of the pop world again, with his first album in seven years smashing into the top of the UK album charts, and expected to do much the same when the Billboard charts reveal their own US album list later this week.
Billboard reports that The 20/20 Experience was the fastest-selling title of the year when debuting at number one in the UK yesterday, notching up sales of around 106,000 copies in its first week, pushing David Bowie’s own comeback The Next Day down to second spot (it sold 35,000 copies after selling 91,000 the previous week.)
It’s the most successful first week on the UK albums chart Timberlake’s ever had, and it barnstorming success looks set to roll over back to his native America.
Second album out will be out before 2013 finishes
Disappointed by Justin Timberlake’s comeback album? Well the good news is The 20/20 Experience isn’t the only one you’ll be getting from him this year! That’s right, the pop star has revealed that he’ll be dropping another full LP before 2013’s out! Like bloody buses eh!
There had been rumors building on the internet that Timberlake’s first album since 2006 might not be quite the full story of his long awaited return, with some suggesting that he might have more up his sleeve. Well, he pretty much confirmed that while up on stage during his album release party on Monday night in Los Angeles (March 18, 2013). "I need to clear up a rumor," Timberlake said during the event, which was being taped and also featured an interview with Ryan Seacrest. He then on to confirm that it was only “the first half of the album." He continued, adding "Those rumors are true," before teasing that he wouldn't reveal a release date just yet.

"Drunken bully gets knocked out" has become an unlikely YouTube hit from this year's SXSW Festival.
Ok, so this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, featured intimate performances from the likes of Prince, Justin Timberlake, the Sound City Players, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Green Day and Kendrick Lamar, though one memorable moment from 2013 appears to be making all the headlines. "Drunk bully gets knocked out" is a video that began pulling in the YouTube views midway through the festival, after one attendee captured an incident on the Austin streets on a smartphone. Of course, we don't condone violence, but isn't there something sweet about seeing a drunken bully stumble around hitting innocent bystanders, only to be given a taste of his own medicine? Sure there is.
After reading the video title, you just know what's going to happen. The only thing left to do is try and guess which of the SXSW festivalgoers gives the drunken bully a face full of fist before it actually happens. Eagle eyed watchers will have spotted the guy with the grey t-shirt asking his friend whether he has his back, around 10 seconds into the video. From there, he plans the whole thing out, waits for his moment, and BOOM.

Justin Timberlake to release new material soon?
Justin Timberlake’s return after six years has been nothing but triumphant but it doesn’t stop there; the singer has announced that his new album, The 20/20 Experience, is just the first part of what’s coming in 2013.
Recommended Albums... New York garage-rock new-wavers The Strokes are on album number five and Comedown Machine marks a return to form for Julian Casablancas & co. Whilst they may not be trying to replicate the pared down sound of their now-iconic debut This Is It, they have at least re-captured some of that raw energy. With a sound now owing as much to 80s synth bands such as A-Ha and Human League as it does to their beloved garage rock idols.
As a result, The Strokes, circa 2013 finds the band fully rejuvenated and seemingly enjoying themselves. They may struggle to regain the popularity that they enjoyed when the band first emerged but they have at least done themselves proud with Comedown Machine.
There's a fine line between sexy and sleazy and Justin Timberlake, with his posse of heavyweight producers (notably Timbaland and J-Roc), his reedy falsetto and his insistence on singing about making love in a spaceship, well. he's treading a fine line, there. Teetering on a tripwire of decency. On the one hand, you can't help but fall for the old school charm, that '50s smoking-jacket-and-cigarette allure that JT's trying so hard (yet, so effortlessly!) to cultivate. The 20/20 Experience starts with a flourish of vintage strings that are quietly peppered with a subtle, Daft Punk-esque synth line. That nostalgic aesthetic (displayed succinctly on the black & white video for 'Suit & Tie') is mixed up with fashion-forward beats and contemporary context, just to prove he knows the world's moved on since the days when all women could do was sit around and wait for that high-school heart-throb to call.
We're not fooled, of course. Justin Timberlake makes (and always has made) pop music with the sole purpose of making female humans faint. These are the kinds of songs that are designed to be sung to the girls in the front row, designed to slay them and watch them fall like dominoes as their hormones combine forces to weaken the knee joints and cause a physical collapse. For every reader that feels enraged by this state of affairs, of course, there will be several other human beings willing to offer themselves up at the altar of Timberlake and perpetuate this pithy desire for the All-American Boy that JT likes to portray. He doesn't care about your mind, ladies, he just likes the way you chew that strawberry bubblegum. So much so, in fact, that he's going to plough that retro imagery as deep as he can an even write a song about you chewing that strawberry bubblegum. And he's gonna go right on and name that song "Strawberry Bubblegum." And don't be surprised if you can buy JT-branded strawberry bubblegum at his shows some time soon.
You've got to hand it to Timberlake. If you took the time to dissect the lyrical content of his songs, you'd be in hysterics. It would come as no surprise to learn that Timberlake had not actually written these songs, or indeed employed someone else to write them, but had in fact used some kind of sleazy online lyric generator, jam-packed with R&B platitudes ("all I want is you," etc), sensory input (anything about how someone happens to taste, an appeal for them not to change their flavour - that kid of thing) and the odd leftfield scenario that's so ridiculous you cant help but buy into whatever he happens to be singing about (sex in a spaceship works well here). Somehow, though, that JT magic comes into play and you can't help but buy into the rose-tinted vision that Timberlake takes of the world, lent gravitas courtesy of his Midas-touch producers.

Prince will perform for just 250 competition winners in an intimate show sponsored by Samsung at SXSW.
250 lucky competition winners will get the chance to see Prince perform with a 21-piece band at the SXSW closing party this week. The legendary singer has been confirmed as a performer for one of the Texas' festival's closing shows, before an intimate crowd of contest winners, reports The Guardian.
Electronics giant Samsung will fund Prince's SXSW debut show, in the same way it bankrolled Kanye West's gig at a launch event in 2012. To be eligible for a ticket for the concert on Saturday (March 16, 2013), fans must be either SXSW badge-holders or owners of a Samsung Galaxy phone. The room at La Zona Rosa will be strictly limited to just 250 people, where Prince will perform a career-spanning set with his band. "Prince is a legend and true creative and musical genius who has been pushing the boundaries of music for more than 35 years," Todd Pendleton, Samsung's chief marketing officer, told Mashable. "Having Prince in Austin at his first SXSW show will truly be a one-night-only experience that our Samsung Galaxy owners and friends will remember for years to come."
It's certainly SXSW's biggest draw of the week, though the festival in Austin, Texas, is also scheduled to include performances from the likes of Green Day, Depeche Mode, Justin Timberlake and Dave Grohl's all-star group the Sound City Players.

Justin Timberlake responds to the derogative comments made by Kanye West regarding new single 'Suit and Tie' during last night's (11 March) Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Justin Timberlake continued the promotional push for his musical comeback last night with an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, during which he discussed the derogatory comments made by everybody's favourite hater, Kanye West, in reference to his comeback single 'Suit & Tie.' Although JT made a passing reference to the off-hand comments by Kanye during his 5th successful hosting spot on Saturday Night Live this weekend, replacing the original line 'S--t so sick got a hit and picked up a habit,' with 'My hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic,' this was the first time Justin has directly addressed Kanye's latest beef.
Justin Timberlake before a recent appearance on UK radio, addressed the Kanye West beef during last night's Jimmy Fallon
Fallon brought up the subtle change of lyrics during the interview, to which Timberlake jokingly played dumb to the interrogation, responding with: 'I don't remember that... Did I change a line? It is live. You know, really, everyone, keep calm.' If we've learnt anything over the years about Yeezy, perhaps best demonstrated by his 'appearance' on South Park, it's that he can take a joke, with Fallon continuing the jesting. Just to clear things up though, Justin reassure Kanye that despite what the rapper thinks, he is still a fan of Kanye's work, telling the audience, 'Let me just say, for the record... I absolutely love Kanye.'
Appearance was the star's fifth time of hosting the long-running program
We shouldn’t be surprised, given that Justin Timberlake and Saturday Night Live go together like bacon and eggs (or a vegetarian equivalent if you’re unhappy with that), that the ratings for the long running show were given a handy boost by the appearance of the pop star, actor and Myspace shareholder.
Timberlake was making his fifth (count ‘em, five) hosting appearance on SNL and his appearance helped give the comedy entertainment show a ratings boost to 5.9 among metered-market households, which constitutes to a 14 month high. In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show scored a 3.7 rating. The last time the show saw such figures was with Charles Barkley as guest host. Timberlake has made numerous cameos on the program in addition to his hosting, but this was the first time he’d been at the helm since May 2011, indicative of how busy he’s been away from the spotlight with, among other things, the re-launch of Myspace.

Justin Timberlake's SNL appearance brought in a record audience number - thanks in part to the appearance of many of the show's most famous faces from over the years.
Justin Timberlake made his triumphant return to Saturday Night Live this weekend (9 March) in what was his fifth appearance on the hit comedy show. As JT entered the '5th Timers' club, he ascended into a selective group featuring an army of comedy legends - many of whom came out for the big night night.
In a sketch featuring many of the other '5 timers' from the show's history, Justin rubbed shoulders with Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Candice Bergen, Paul Simon, Candice Bergen and Dan Akroyd (who was only around to tend bar), before having the Three Amigos (Chase, Martin and Martin Short) themselves introduce Justin to the stage to perform his new single 'Mirrors'. Dressed in full Amigo attire, the trio of comedy all-stars gleefully ushered JT to the stage for one performance, with Justin also performing 'Suit and Tie' on the night. Whilst there were no comedy snippets for this performance, Jay Z did show up to deliver his verse.
Justin Timberlake hosts Saturday Night Live for the fifth time
Justin Timberlake joined the pantheon of Saturday Night Live five-timers last night with, you guessed it, his fifth appearance on the show.
Fellow quintetians: Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Simon, Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd were all in attendance to honor Timberlake into the club. Characterized as smoking jacket-wearing prestige club members, the five-time gang did a few sketches to welcome JT.

Bridesmaids star will be helming Saturday Night Live again
One of Hollywood’s most sought-after comic actresses is set to host Saturday Night Live once more. Melissa McCarthy is rumored to be hosting the show in April, according to Us Weekly. It’s the second time in two years that the Bridesmaids star has taken on the hosting duties for the high profile chat show and she’ll be reappearing on our screens on April 6, 2013.
The Oscar-nominated comic star has been in the cinemas recently with Identity Thief, which defied the seriously negative response that it got from movie critics, to top the box office charts on its release. Also starring Jason Bateman, the movie is a comic caper about a con-woman (McCarthy) who steals a man’s identity (Bateman) and subsequently threatens his chances of a work promotion. He manages to track her down and a battle of wills commences. McCarthy’s career began when she worked for an improv troupe in Los Angeles. Her debut Saturday Night Live stint in October got rave reviews and it’s likely that the loveable actress will do the same this time around.

Justin Timberlake and Marcus Mumford are set to provide the soundtrack to the new Coen Brothers film.
Every time a new Coen brothers film is announced, and any time Justin Timberlake or Marcus Mumford make new music, there is excitement. So when all three parties combine in a music & film synergy, well that’s exciting too.
Timberlake and the main-Mumford-man are set to employ their musical talents to the silver screen, as cult filmmakers The Coen Brothers embark on another feature length picture called 'Inside Llewyn Davis'. “I did work with Marcus Mumford on the soundtrack… Marcus and myself, we all kind of worked on the music together and I don’t know any other world where we would have the opportunity to collaborate like that but it was so much fun,” Timberlake explained to Capital FM. “So not only will that be a great movie, but the music to it will be fantastic.” Timberlake also used his on-air opportunity to defend his 8-minute track, Mirrors. “When we were making the record I said, ‘If Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin can do 10-minute songs and Queen can do 10-minute songs then why can’t we?” We can think of a few reasons.

Kanye West reminds everyone of the infamous Taylor Swift VMAs rant again as he goes off on one during London concert on Saturday.
Talk about holding a grudge! It seems as though Kanye West is still hung up about Taylor Swift's victory of Beyonce at the 2009 VMAs as the rapper ranted about the incident whilst on stage at London's Hammersmith Apollo this weekend.
Kanye and the rest of his G.O.O.D. music pose began their three night residency at the London venue on Saturday night (Feb 23), with Kanye 'treating' fans to a 20 minute rant that included a segment dedicated to the Swift VMA win that resulted in the rapper's infamous stage invasion during the country star's acceptance speech. This particular rant came after the initial monologue from the star, in which he complained about (amongst other things) Justin Timberlake's collaboration with best pal Jay Z on the track 'Suit & Tie.'
"I’ve got love for Hov but I’m not down with that suit and tie s**t," moaned Mr Kim Kardashian, who also had a good natter about the Grammys and corporate sponsors too. He told the audience, “We need the music business to be evened out and fair. I've never won a Grammy against a white artist. I'm motherf***ing Kanye West."
Kanye West gives his thoughts on Suit & Tie and Beyonce's Pepsi ads
Everyone seems to have taken to Justin Timberlake’s comeback pretty well; his single Suit & Tie had people claiming: ‘he’s still got it’, but one person not enamoured with the Timberlake-Jay Z collaboration is Kanye West, who aired his disdain for the track at his show in London on Friday, Feb 22.
"And I got love for Hov but I ain't f**king with that 'Suit & Tie,'" he said during an instrumental from the G.O.O.D. Music track "Clique". The rants didn’t stop there either,as the rapper took a shot at Beyonce’s latest Pepsi advert. "Can I sell a drink for you please? So you can help me put on a better show. Please corporations. Can you please support me, Kanye West? I swear I'm a nice n***a now. I swear I'll put the pink polo back on. I swear to you. Please? Just for three million dollars,” bleated Mr. West – a man clearly at odds with corporations and sponsorship.

Kanye West and Jay-Z have been friends for years, and have worked together professionally and personally for a long time. However, it may be that West is having a bout of the green-eyed-monster since Jay-Z has been forging another successful friendship with fellow performer Justin Timberlake (Jay-T). During a show in London in which West was freestyling the end of Clique, he seemed to blasting them both when he said "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f--kin' with that 'Suit & Tie,'" the Huffington Post reports.

Jay Z's blog reveals some details of summer tour with Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake isn’t wasting any time with the whole ‘making a massive return to the pop scene’ thing he kicked off with his ‘Suit & Tie single featuring Jay Z. Now, the former ‘N Sync star (remember those days) and the hip-hop master himself have announced that they will co-headline a massive tour, according to Jay Z’s Life and Times blog.
The tour will be entitled Legends of the Summer and in something of an artful PR move, they haven’t announced the dates just yet, but instead posted photos of the 12 stadiums that they’re going to be rocking together. It remains to be seen whether or not the dates will coincide with Beyonce’s massive tour this summer (that’s Jay Z’ wife, for those not in the know), though they’ll have a hard time avoiding it, what with her tour spanning from April to August. Who exactly is going to look after Blue Ivy Carter if mom and dad are both gigging?
Meanwhile, Justin’s wife Jessica Biel (Justin Timberlake’s wife) was spotted rocking out at one of his recent concerts. Unable to contain her excitement, Biel was on her feet dancing, in the video obtained by TMZ. She was waving her arms and you know what? We reckon she knew pretty much all of the words to the songs, too. Props, Jess.

Justin Timberlake has announced he will return to SNL on March 9, 2013
Justin Timberlake will make a triumphant comeback to Saturday Night Live, acting as both host and musical guest for the evening on March 9, 2013, a week before the anticipated release of his new album The 20/20 Experience. It's a tough gig, though if anyone can do it, it's Timberlake, having helmed the show on four previous occasions.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedian Kevin Hart will host on March 2 with musical guest Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, of Thrift Shop fame. Timberlake is certainly stepping up the promotion for his new record, also agreeing to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on every episode for the week commencing Monday March 11. He'll perform each night and sit down for a chat with Jimmy on the Monday and Friday. Fallon did a similar week long celebration when Bruce Springsteen released his Wrecking Ball album last year.
The 20/20 Experience will be released March 19 on RCA Records, with Timberlake having already released two singles, Suit & Tie with Jay-Z and Mirrors. He's also performed new tracks Pusher Love Girl and That Girl live, while signing up to headline London's Wireless Festival in the summer.

They’ve appeared on a single together, they played at the Grammys together, there are rumours they’ll be touring together, and now Justin Timberlake and Jay Z have been confirmed as headliners for London’s Wireless Festival taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – which hosted the Olympic Games last year.
The move perhaps adds fuel to the fire that the pair will be on tour together in the summer, with both of them appearing in London on the same weekend. It should be noted though that they’ll be performing on different nights of the festival, with Justin Timberlake playing July 12th and Hova following up the next night on the 13th.
In a statement reported by the BBC, Steve Homer from Live Nation said: "Wireless Festival has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2005. We're incredibly excited to take it to its new home, London's iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park." Live Nation of course ditched Hyde Park, the previous home of Wireless and many of the promoter’s other big name gigs, after enduring complaints about sound levels and curfews from fans and residents alike. Timberlake’s evening includes other stars including Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, John Legend and Frank Ocean. Jay Z meanwhile comes after Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Fresh and Calvin Harris. It’ll be nice for Emeli Sande to be playing at home eh.
Albums Of Note... Get Up! pairs modern blues idol and expert slide guitarist Ben Harper with harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite. Aiming for blues authenticity, that’s exactly what Ben and Charlie achieve here. The pair of talented blues musicians fly in the face of modernity and instead strive to recreate the dusky glamour of a Chicago blues club.
“In general, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite have delivered a strong, yet candid and fun blues album. This album really does not care that it is 2013, and why should it? Each of the ten songs contains something of merit. Both musicians involved are fairly prolific but this collection will doubtlessly shoot to the high end of the fans favourites in no time at all.”
